I consider myself to be a true sports fan, although my primary focus, at least for college athletics, is the Southern Jaguars. But I can truly say I have never seen a televised sporting event involving Louisiana Tech.

Okay I see that for some it isn't possible to have a discussion without getting in their feelings.

It was never said that the games weren't televised. Just that they were RARELY televised.

Simply put Baton Rouge is SEC/SWAC country, which isn't something to get all huffy about.

I would imagine that Ruston is C-USA/SEC country. It only make sense that people support their own.

Any expectations of anything more just isn't base on reality.

I know that LaTech is in Ruston, la., but I have absolutely no clue as to how to get to the campus or what area of the campus the stadium sets.

Beside there seems to be enough resident experts on pretty much every thing you need to know about us and SWAC football.

Maybe you should take some advice from your boy Earle. We're just doing what he said y'all would be doing; only difference is we're "defending our turf" on this page.

IMO, you haven't crossed into ULL-fan-on-BBB territory, but you're going to have to be prepared for an onslaught of smack, questions, and a few snide remarks by coming to the opposing team's board (especially this one). If you can't handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen!

As the September 5 weekend approaches, many SU loyalists will visit this forum. They will talk smack; they will shuck and jive; and they will anger and rattle you. Let me admonish you though that this will all be in good taste. No harm will be intended at all! We are grateful just to be on the same football field with such a fine university as Louisiana Tech. By the time the gridiron date is over, you will know everything you need to know about SU, and we will know the same about you.
