I agree. It's the very FIRST thing I thought of when I saw this latest story.
By the way, did anybody else notice in the story that Stapleton --and his attorney-- SPECIFICALLY requested the University of Florida be included in the list of schools he could transfer to?? But T-Mac shot it down. Good for T-Mac.
The two spoke via phone that afternoon when Goliday verbally requested that Florida be added to the list of 21 schools.
Goliday wrote McClelland again June 29, this time regarding national media inquiries.........
.....McClelland responded to the new transfer requests later that day and provided three attachments — one in response to the June 26 letter, one to be used as Stapleton's new release and an updated non-conference schedule.
McClelland released Stapleton to 16 of the 22 schools requested. He denied the Florida request, along with the four schools in Louisiana and Ole Miss, which fell under the 2016 opponents stipulation.
