This game had a decent crowd in 2004 on Labor Day weekend (Nevada sure didn't help provide anybody in attendance . . . . .)

I can handle hot but I remember a game against Fresno State that was frigid. I also went to an IBowl with Mich. State and LSU where I was so cold I didn't even notice the game.
Have you considered those Dogs?
Nope, I was there, but after baking in the sun all afternoon for a midday kickoff on Labor Day, that Nevada game is burned into my memory.
Besides winning and watching Moats run for a few hundred yards, the best part of that game was getting to see my Dad, who has since passed away, holding my 7 month old daughter in her Tech cheerleader outfit make it onto ESPN. I have a video of the game and gave worn it out watching that clip.
Heat?-- Manhattan Kansas in 2000. It was 126 degrees in the stadium. This was at 6:00 pm game time. The artificial turf field must have been hellish. I must admit I wimped out on the Labor Day game versus Nevada although I had season tickets. It was on TV and I knew it was going to sizzle.
Yes but final score was very cool!! Too bad Tech could not hold on to Tim Rose as Def Coord.
