The sign says "for renovation." I haven't seen Scott in probably 6 months, but I know he's now in WM working in an oil related venture. Not surprised if it's closed for good. Scott's not one to lose money on a renovation requiring extensive down time.
Got word tonight that Chickfila is coming to Ruston. Late 2016 to early 2017.
Wonder how that's gonna go over in Ruston, a chain that specializes in serving the Baptist Bird and closes on Sunday ??
Like every other location have, I believe it will do well.
I have eaten at 3 restaurants recently where Christian music was being played. Chick Fil A will be 4. Great to have positive family oriented places doing well in town.

Why are they removing grass at several places along the interstate in Ruston?
Pure speculation but it looks like they are clearing away blockage of the drainage holes.
Because the state of LA needed to spend some tax dollars.
Actually that's about 80% federal dollars on the interstate system, very little state tax $$$$
Most state generated dollars go into the state hwy system, except bridges which is almost totally all federal $$$$

that's about 1/2 of them and you want a taco at the best HB joint in WM.
