Nice, gentlemen!! PLEASE add in Tech numbers of significance. I know we've missed a lot of former Bulldogs. Wish there was a database of such.

I honestly thought TE didn't warrant a comment. We were speechless and in awe nearly every time he touched the ball. Fitting to remain the same in remembering his career. Of course I kid, but it's true.

15 more days until kickoff. WHO LET THE DOGS OUT!! GO BULLDOGS!!
    • #15 BRYSON ABRAHAM, Bulldog senior cornerback from Jennings.
    • #15 BART STAR: Quarterbacked the Green Bay Packers to five NFL championships after being drafted number 200 in the 1956 NFL draft and being offered $6500 to sign. Bart was the 1966 NFL MVP and led the Packers to victory in the first two Superbowls (1967 and 1968.) Where did Bart Star play college football?
    • #15 THURMAN MUNSON: Thurman Munson was one of the best catchers to ever play the game of baseball. Munson played his entire career, spanning the years of 1969 to 1979, with the New York Yankees. His career, and life, were cut short by a tragic plane crash. He was a 7 time all star and had a .357 post season batting average to enhance his two World Series championships. Over his career, spanning 11 different MLB seasons, he had a .292 batting average with 113 home runs, 701 RBI and 696 runs scored.
    • #15 KARCH KIRALY: Karch Kiraly = Volleyball

This American is the only player to win Olympic medals in both indoor and beach volleyball. Known as the best volleyball player on the planet. Hands down!
Won Olympic Gold in Indoor Volleyball in 1984 and 1988, and Olympic Gold in Beach Volleyball in 1996.
Has won more tournaments (148) and more money ($3,159,773 ) than any other player on the AVP Pro Beach Tour. Also, he's 6'2" hitting over and around guys who are 6'8" to 6'10". Did you know: "Kiraly" rhymes with "spy."

I'm pretty sure it was Billy Laird's number.

Nice work. Laird (1962-65) completed 347 of 609 passes (7th Tech records) for 4,333 yards (8th Tech records) and 27 touchdowns. He followed Coach Mickey Slaughter and preceeded Phil Robertson according to one source. Sure would be nice to have a historic list of which Bulldogs have worn which number.

Billy was a senior my freshman year. Phil was a red shirt freshman that year and played through his red shirt junior season before deciding hunting was more fun than football. So, yes Billy was between Mickey and Phil.
