Our fans are notorious at waiting until the last minute, I will admit! Next week will bring a flood of calls to the Tech Ticket Office. SU fans will purchase or seek to purchase more than 4000 tickets wwithin the next 8 days.

Earle you are definitely correct! Jaguar fans are very notorious for waiting until the last minute to purchase tickets! I'm not sure if some folks are taking into consideration the number of Jaguar fans who have already purchased tickets on Ticketmaster via the LA Tech Athletic Department's website (on BOTH the home side and the visitor's side of the stadium) in addition to the number of tickets provided to SU, SU alumni chapters, etc.??? Some people on here seem so focused on the number of tickets provided to SU as the number of SU fans expected! They are underestimating the number of SU fans and may find themselves "stuck out"!! LOL

I would prefer that they not refuse to sell tickets to any paying customer. Tech fans need to learn to prepare ahead.

I can explain to you how it works....if anyone (SU fan, LA Tech fan, or anyone else) logs into their Ticketmaster account through the LA Tech Athletic Department's site, they may purchase tickets to the game. This is the method I used as well as other SU fans, LA Tech fans, and others used. No where during the purchase process was there a prompt saying "you must wait to purchase your ticket after all LA Tech fans purchase their tickets". In other words...my credit card numbers were entered and processed the same way LA Tech fans' and others' credit cards were processed. Revenue is revenue!!

This is why trying to estimate the number of Jaguar fans who have ALREADY purchased tickets based on ticket allotments sent to SU is a moot point. Who knows how many Jaguar fans have purchased tickets to this game by phone and online via LA Tech's Ticketmaster portal!!!!

SRO is not a bad problem to have. I do not doubt there will be negative comments following the game about long lines, limited seating, etc. IMHO these are problems that are good to have.

You can't bring 7k in because tech will have more than 21. More like 25.

Now matter which way you cut it, SU will have more than 8000 in JAS come next Saturday night. Most of SU fans will have purchased their tix through variouis ticket outlets and not directly from SU. Aside from your season ticket holders, the other seats are fair game. Therefore, SU fans will be all over the place. We just might even exceed Tech fans in attendance since school has not yet started at Tech and some Tech fans have a disdain for playing FCS programs. You think NSU brought a ton of folk; you haven't seen anything yet!
