We will go bankrupt and split up like the Soviet Union did... which will hurt in the short term, but might turn out to be a good thing in the long run.... back to the Constitution.

The only way we are going to stop illegal immigration is if they start voting for conservative ideology. It will come to a screaching halt then.
Unfortunately, you are correct. If I remember correctly, Obama said that after he was elected and prior to taking office. It doesn't make sense. I wish Woof would explain why radical liberals find this a desirable course. But, in keeping with liberal "policy," Woof won't explain his position or answer any questions. I am left to assume that he doesn't even understand why he takes the positions he espouses. IMHO, a wiser course of action would be that our country return to the fundamentals that made the United States the greatest nation in history.

I don't intend to paint with a broad brush. If I have correctly understood their positions, the two Champs hold intelligent and thoughtful liberal beliefs, and I certainly understand and respect their opinions.

It seems like you need to explain what you mean by this and explain your position before you question others.

    Re: Immigration

I'll try to speak for both of you.

Traditional America to a conservative is the founding fathers providing a Constitution which maximized freedom and limited federal power, instead giving each state the power to rule themselves.

Traditional America to a progressive is the founding fathers were a bunch of slave-owning racists who only wanted to allow white people to become rich by being greedy and stealing stuff from poor people.

So when a conservative says he wants to return to traditional America, the progressive thinks that's a racist comment. When the progressive says he wants to fundamentally transform the country, the conservative thinks he wants communism.

It's not important if I know what he meant. What is important is what millions of women, African-Americans, Asians, Hispanics, and millennials believe what he believes.

Correction, when the progressive says he wants to fundamentally transform the country, the conservative knows he wants communism or pure arse socialism. And that the said progressive should be run out of the country.

Salty, it's not important what you think the PC meaning is because it isn't what you assume. Nor is it what you want and must believe in your enabled and always blaming somebody else for your failures simple mind. And don't you dare lump the hard working, tax paying, law abiding and God fearing "women, African-Americans, Asians, Hispanics, and millennials" in your number with the lazy, crime committing and living off others
"women, African-Americans, Asians, Hispanics, and millennials".

You have a hard time comprehending things. It is NOT important what I think or if I "lump" people in a group (to use your words). What is important is what party millennials, African-Americans, women, Asians, Hispanics and millennials identify with most.

You are delusional. That political tactic is going by the wayside. PC will be hitch hiking back across the border soon and hopefully back across the seas. Just look how everyone totally ignored Billary's women rant and terrorist and Hitler comparison this week. I think hypocrisy of being and preaching PC is dying a long overdue death Salty. Say goodbye!!

Look at the demographics for the last two elections and pay close attention to women, African-American, Hispanic, Asian, and millennial voters. Well, you're right, I'm am delusional if I think the GOP cares about the votes of any of these groups.

Not anymore as Obama totally screwed the real tax paying, God fearing, hard working, family loving "women, African-American, Hispanic, Asian, and millennial voters" over in a big way and they know it. The Obama/Hillary lawbreaking, Constitution trampling, socialist, PC, class warfare jig is up!!!

There is nothing to support that.

There is a little bit... Obama lost 10 million votes from 2008 to 2012, and Republicans dominated the congressional elections and now control the House and Senate. That being said, I bet Obama would still probably win a 3rd term if he could run again (too many low information voters).
