Sounds like you may be a player, or a coach, or you have some other affiliation with the program. If so, just realize that most of these diehard fans will be around to clean up your mess long after you and yours have moved on to something else.

We get guys like you all the time.....people that think they are better than us, and think we are terrible for speaking our minds. Yet, all these years later, we're still here talking about our Dawgs and attending games.

I can tell you this: If not for many of the people on this board, LA Tech wouldn't have a new Davison Athletic Center, a new football turf, a Dawgzilla video board, and probably wouldn't be in CUSA today. Many of these "fair weather fans" use this social medium to keep pressure on the athletic administration to be better, and to continue to get better. Meanwhile, most guys like you just pop in and bitch about it 290 times every 3 years or so.

I'll go to any away game (rain or shine) if somebody wants to pick up the tab. Like I said, I go to all the home games but I can only make 1 or 2 away per year and have to be choosy.

I spent $72 for 2 tickets to UTSA. Then had to tip a lady $3 at the Holiday Inn Express to print the tickets because they wouldn't scan my phone at the Alamodome. Then had to pay $20 to park. Traveled 884 miles round trip which is ~$120 in gas money for my truck. Then about $125 for my hotel room. I won't even add in concessions and food. That's at least $340 to support my Dawgs in San Antonio. Not to mention it consumed my entire weekend. But according to this idiot DoubleDDawg, I'm a "fair weather" fan and "talking crap" about our players because I wouldn't do that 2 weekends in a row to watch us get blown out in Starkville without our best player. I'd ban that moron from this board if I were a mod.
