I just saw that on Twitter and thought I read it wrong! I have to admit I feel bad for them, and sure wouldn't have seen that coming.

Dantzler has already tweeted that he is still firm to USM "so don't call me". Some baaaad decisions being made by kids just before signing day.

That's the first thing I thought when I heard about it. There is no way anyone can make me believe he could not have waited a week to announce this. That program is going to be screwed. I am so glad he wasn't here to do that to us! I am sure the fans are going nuts- don't blame them. Either way, the new commits/signees are not going to be very happy.

Interesting thought that I did not consider. I think I'd rather him go ahead and announce instead of misleading the recruits. Probably no way to keep it under wraps anyway.

I know- either way it sucks for them. You hate to see the kids get stuck here and the program screwed- if he delays or like he did, announce it.

No, he was fired after year 1 (or before). John Carr (Ouachita HC and Roger's son) was there, but he took another job at a JUCO a couple of weeks ago.
