It's sad that the republicans might have their best overall establishment candidate in my lifetime in Rubio and the best opposition conservative in a long time in Cruz.
Yet, the nomination will go to Trump because we don't think past empty slogans.

Yeah, real genuine.

Baby Trump is scared of Fox News?! Yeah, he's a conservative. I'm increasingly depressed that this cartoon character is about to be the GOP nominee. He'll be running against a socialist or a First Lady under federal indictment.
What's that quote about getting the government we deserve?

What I've realized about Trump is that most candidates have a lot of grand ideas of varying merit, none of which they'll be able to implement without great toil, if at all.
Trump will be able to destroy everything within 3 hours of inauguration, 6 if the printer is broken.

Just exactly what is it that you think electing any establishment Republican will get us? They all bow down and kiss the asses of the Democrats. There are lot's of us that have been waiting for someone with balls enough to tell the biased liberal media to go to hell, just like Trump just did. Don't kid yourself. Career politicians are all the same. They're in it for self enrichment, period. Trump doesn't need the money, and he doesn't give a rat's ass what anybody thinks of him. He's exactly what we need right now. I like Cruz, but it was Trump that stood up to the clowns in Washington DC and said enough already. We need to clean house in the cesspool that DC has become.

Trump is a douchebag. Cruz already said he would appoint Trump to get the wall built. Wouldn't that be enough? He has no good conservative ideas... would just be a deal-maker with his Democrat buddies. No thanks!

At this point I'm beginning to get concerned we'll have Michael Bloomberg on the Democrat's side because Hillary might not survive the FBI investigation. He'd be a lot bigger problem than she is. Plus he has more than 8 times the money Trump has.
But if she survives and he comes in as a third party candidate, it could be the flip side of the Bush, Clinton, Perot election. The Democrats deserve a taste of that.
Could be an "Epic" election...
I don't know why, really, but I have always enjoyed all this presidential political stuff. Maybe it's just a bad habit I need to break.
But, until I do, I will continue to follow it closely. The nuances, the ebb-n-flow, the intangibles of presidential politics has always been fascinating.

It's amazing how little talent the Democrats have. Are there any young Democrat up and comers?
