Nobody is gleeful on here I can promise you! That's not why I posted it.
Many on here have been talking this articles talking points for decades but especially the last 20 years. Heck we've been posting about this since 1997 on BB&B.

Destruction of "black America" predates the klintons. Yeah, Billy Boy doubled down on it and blacks got EXACTLY what they deserved from continuing to support the democraps. They got more of the same under obummer. And they will help put a klinton back into the WH and get clobbered again. Stupid is as stupid does.

Most people, including most on this otherwise well-informed board are completely clueless about history, and worse! don't care to know. Destruction of black America began under FDR, or the foundation was laid for it, but it is LBJ that is most responsible for annihilating "black America." One has only to go back to post-WWII America, the 1950's, and look at the reality of that time. Now, the most ignorant among us will get hung up on segregation and state something like "blacks were discriminated against, kept isolated, blah, blah, blah...." Yes...EXACTLY! They were kept isolated away from the "helping hand" of big guvmint! And they were so much better off because of it. Segregation was (and still is) wrong, and it had negative effects on the black community. But! and this is the critical point: it made "black America" self-sufficient.

Yep, I dare you to research the time, the 1950's, into the early '60's. What you will find were completely self-sufficient black communities, with their own economy, and own BUSINESSES!!!! Everyone had jobs! There was no guvmint hand-outs, that have wrecked black families. Businesses, started and then handed down to the next generation(s). Some have survived to this day, but most were devastated when segregation ended and blacks flocked to white businesses, combined with the welfare state substituting for those, in those black communities, who lost their businesses and lost their livelihood.

Instead of digging in and helping those black businesses survive and eventually thrive, again, the guvmint offered hand-outs. The welfare state in all its destructive glory!

It's a "minority thing" some with argue. Really? Why then has the Asian minority, and the Indian (from India) minority, and other racial and ethnic groups done well? Because they refused to adopt the guvmint hand-out model and made their own way. Now Hispanics stand at a cross roads. They are about 50-50% right now on which way their communities will tilt. There are a lot of hard-working, motivated Hispanics who KNOW what this nation has to offer, the opportunities. But, now there is ever-growing number who are being courted by the evil democraps with the lure of "free money," and those will become wards of the state. Forever trapped in the endless cycle of poverty and dependency.

I stumbled into this truth while researching another era, and while working on a history project. I found oodles of photos of old Natchitoches, some going way back to the 1890's and some before that. But, what caught my attention was the folders full of photos from the 1950's and what I saw was a thriving community in west Natchitoches, that is today, unfortunately, largely a crime-ridden ghetto. Photos of African-Americans proudly standing in front of their businesses: stores, small manufacturers (like furniture), taxi services, and all the other retail outlets you would expect to see. I didn't do anything with this information at that time...

Years later, while a student in business grad school, I went back to the Geneology Lab, housed in the Old Courthouse Museum in beautiful downtown Natchitoches, and pulled those photos, and with the help of the staff there, reviewed old newspapers, letters, etc. My paper on economics focused on local economies, and in this case, answering the question "What happened?"
