Do you realize the establishment prefers Trump over Cruz? Trump does not see ideological enemies, he sees people to make deals with. He has no principles... or if he does, they change over time for no apparent reason (or the reason is that it will get him the deal he wants).

No, I'm saying all those things are on the Cruz agenda too. The difference is Cruz is a constitutional lawyer and Trump is a dipshit, so I will vote for Cruz over Trump. Cruz said he would get Trump to pay for the wall!! I know where Cruz stands. He's a constitutional conservative in the vein of the founding fathers. Trump doesn't even know who he is or where he stands. There is no reason to like Trump over Cruz, unless it's Trump's great hair.

I like Cruz also and would love for him to be the nominee. I just don't see how since he and Trump are sharing the same voters and Trump is doing better than Cruz among them. I would love either. I just feel that a lot of people are getting worked up about Trump so I need to defend him. Do we agree that Rubio will be a puppet?

I like Rubio over Trump. I don't see any appeal in Trump and think he may actually be a Clinton plant to ensure her victory (remember Bill's call to Trump the day before he announced he was running?). You think they made Palin look nuts? Wait until they get ahold of his goofy butt and all the skeletons in his closet. He is not a likeable guy, as evidenced by the 60% unfavorable polls. And he's been a Democrat most of his life. I see nothing to like.

Regardless, I think Cruz is done. If he can't rely on "evangelicals", there's no path for him. I think the only thing between the US and HRC is Rubio, but even his chances are dwindling day by day.

Good info on the debate skills of Cruz. He would shred Hillary better than any candidate out there.
