Trump voters aren't the base...if they were, we wouldn't be talking about a brokered convention.

That is because the establishment (money men) DO NOT WANT Trump. WHY...because they can't controll Trump like they do Rubio. Rubio is their puppet!!!! When they say jump...Rubio asks how high on the way up. Trump tells them to shove it!! I'm tired of do nothing politicians and lawyers running the country.

Ever wonder why your vehicle insurance in Louisiana costs more than the surrounding states??? It is because the lawyers are in the Louisiana legislature and making the laws to benefit the lawyers!!! GO TRUMP!!!!

The best thing for America would be for Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders to win the nominations. This would "blow up" the two party system and give us one that would work.

    "Big Government/Business As Usual"
    Constitutionalists and Capitalists

No, the Republican establishment can't control Trimp. That is a given. But surely the Republican establishment can look at his record and see that this man who can't be controlled is a leftist. I would say that the Republican establishment, whoever that is, would be justified in fearing a Trump presidency.

With that said, I don't care what the Republican establishment, whoever that is, thinks. That party hasn't rpesemted me for a very long time. I just happen to agree with them, whoever they are, that Trump is a would be leftist dictator.

Yep! you took the same position in the guvnar's race, "not voting for Vitter," and you (we) got JBE. Nice.

I am supporting Cruz, and will continue to until this race is officially over. But, if Trump is the Repub nominee, I will vote for him over Hillary. We KNOW klinton is a leftist would-be dictator. Trump....maybe. At least he says SOME of the right things.

I don't regret not voting in the govenor's race and will not rehash the reasons for my decision. I knew Edwards is a liberal. But,I can tell you unequivocally that I would have voted for Vitter before I would vote for Trump. Trump's history before he decided to dupe Republicans is that he was an unabashed leftist, big central government, crony capitalist guy.

I am a libertarian, but I will vote for Cruze if nominated. He is an acceptable candidate. I will not vote Trump if nominated. In that case I will vote for Gary Johnson.

Giving power to a total narcissist like Trump is a huge mistake in my opinion. Who knows how he would wield it, but judging by his past, I would not like it.

You'd vote on a guy who goes against all your core beliefs just to prove a point, while you wouldn't vote for Vitter because he was a whore monger (15 years removed)?

I didn't vote against Vitter in the end, just not for. Once again, it was because I am sick and tired of the Republican Party shoving flawed, ridiculous candidates at us and daring us not to vote for them.

You're in the same state of denial that the Republican establishment is in. I voted for Trump, and I've voted Republican for more than 30 years. I'm the very definition of what the Republican base is and I have had it with the clowns that are running the GOP.

We can agree that we have all had it with the clowns running rhe Republican Party. But, you want to replace those clowns with a bigger clown.

We would not be having this discussion if Trump hadn't giving us the "wake up call". Bush would have gotten the establishment endorsement and we'd have a very liberal and weak candidate in the form of the last two losers who Obama destroyed.

You are probably right. He also led the attack against political correctness.
