I like Cruz, but a Washington outsider is what people want in the white house for the next four years. The fact that Cruz is currently a US senator is what will prevent him from winning the nomination.

I would not be supporting Fischer and if Cruz ever said he wanted to arrest gays I wouldn't support him either. And if Fischer supported Trump, I wouldn't hold that against him either. I just go by what they say and how they say it and their record.Originally Posted by Cool Hand Clyde
This is what I don't understand. To call Trump a "Washington Outsider" is proposterous. The guy has give truckloads of money to multiple politicians. Sure he hasn't served in an elected position, but he's probably owed more favors by DC politicians than anybody on the planet. Doesn't sound like an outsider to me.
