87% of the budget goes to Benefits(SS,Medicare,Food Stamps), Interest on Debt and Defense. 13% to actually operate the government.
Romney also led in the polls, right up to election day, but Republicans didn't turn out to vote. Hillary will have a dismal turnout of Democrat voters. Everybody is sick of her, even if she is the hand picked nominee of the Democrat establishment.
Cruz just SMOKED this guy. This is something Trump could never do. He would just get mad, make fun of this guy and walk out.

He, like Trump, was a Yankee RINO. Republicans will turn out for a true conservative.
And to address an earlier comment, Cruz pissing off McConnell will not keep Republicans from turning out. Only establishment elites in DC are bothered by that.
it's a little bit of a joke, but a little bit serious. with all of the surprising and ridiculous endorsements of trump i've seen, i would not be at all surprised.
Trump is literally incapable of doing what Cruz just did in that video.

I know I am a minority here about Trump but I would be excited if Cruz could become president. Right now I don't see it happening. Trump has at least shown that when you don't back down and apologize for every little thing you can still br popular. I hope this rubs off on the supreme court nomination.
A large part of the education budget goes to pell grants. They can't really be cut and shouldn't be anyway.
But he should have backed down and apologized for many of the things he's said. He publicly mocked a physically handicapped journalist (who deserves respect for having a successful career despite his disability). He's doubled down on his comment about McCain not being a war hero because he was captured. Who actually says stuff like that? Much less to a crowd of supporters or to a reporter.
I don't think he's a real conservative, he's already proposing to expand government, start blocking trade deals, and wants to make it easier to crack down on press that doesn't agree with him. Those are very anti-conservative ideas (Reagan would roll over in his grave). On top of that, he lacks the character and composure to be president. I don't think he could handle failure with much dignity, and his constant self-promotion and vanity is nauseating.
