I was responding to his ridiculous claim that there was nowhere to socialize and drink in Ruston so I simply listed all the places I could think of that you could socialize and drink alcohol in Ruston.![]()

Having something along the lines of a superior bar and grill would be awesome! Heck,I'd settle for a posadas or cantina laredo!
Maddawg, what manager of CFA are you getting your inside information from on the Ruston location? If you don't mind, email me at jeremy.telford@cfafranchisee.com or send me a PM on here. Thanks!
Outside of Cotton, you have got to be kidding. The rest are chain restaurants... Substitute Copeland's with Ponchatoula's or Log Cabin, Five Guys with Dawg House or Cheeburger Cheeburger, and Olive Garden with Cafe Roma. There are a multitude of good restaurants in Ruston. As far as replacing Chic Fil A, McAlister's, and Jimmy John's, I'm at a loss if you are going to Monroe just to eat at those places. There are always fast food places to eat chicken or sandwiches.
Just because there is something similar doesn't make it an alternative/substitute.
Bunch of spoiled brats...

Saw what you want about BWW, but that place would make a killing in Ruston.
Need more local joints that cater to local taste. My memories of Ruston are Blue Light Cafe, Rabbs, and Dawghouse. They added to the charm of Ruston, not places like Starbucks or Chili's.
First one I ate at was in South Dakota. Great service, food, and clean looking servers.
I've tried the one in WM three times. Food was average at best. Service was horrible, and the servers looked like they were gathered up between the tat/piercing shop and a late night Walmart run. They would not made the cut at Waffle House.
