Burger Grind out of East Texas just opened across the street from West Monroe HS on N. 7th. Excellent burgers. Maybe Ruston can be their next stop.

I really like the food at Dawg House, but I do not understand how the service there can be so terrible. It's like they are in competition with Sundown to see who can have the worst wait staff and slowest kitchens. I really would like to eat at both more often, especially since I live in Ruston, but I leave them both ticked off about the time it took, the terrible waiter/waitress, or both. It keeps me away for about 2 months until I try again and repeat the cycle.

Since i helped start the discussion, I blame the kitchen when orders take too long. I blame the server when the tables are dirty and they allow nose rings to become infected. I blame the owner for the overall lack of care regarding customer service. They can only ride the "I love LaTech" thing for so long.

Burger Grind makes a very good burger with lots of options. Can choose from 1/4, 1/2 or 1 lb. burger and several cheese options (my complaint of Flying Burger is only one cheese, American, which isn't really cheese in my opinion). Onion rings are great. Fried pickles good, but could use less breading.

Ate at Flying Burger Friday before the Magnolia Rodeo. Did not disappoint.
I would put the number aroudn 90% of the time itīs the kitchenīs fault.
99%
agreed. Though that second part does help.
Itīs the same as any generation, there are lazy workers of all ages. Iīve met great young workers.
That was only a few years ago, has it changed that much in that time-span?
IMO one of Dawghouseīs problems with service is its menu. Itīs too large. Kitchens canīt keep up with such a large, diverse quantity of food needed to be cooked.
What is going in where Lewis's store was located?
