How's that work? Governmental unit signs long-term lease, which basically handles the monthly note, then other rentals are gravy? Asking for a friend.

You could say all multi-tenant developments work that way, if done right, I.e., you don't overpay for the real estate.

Many can survive at less than 100% occupancy but they need to be at 100% to make real money.

The new laws have all sorts of regulations on occupancy, inspections, bar size, storage square footage, and Wilmart can't afford to make all those changes. Yet another example of our genius govt "creating" jobs and economy.
