Then, when the waitstaff DOES reappear I ask for the manager to come visit. Chilis in West Monroe CAN be the worst. Items on my ticket have been adjusted several times as a result of civilized conversation.
If you don't take verbal action you're missing out on a chance for the establishment to make immediate corrections.
PS-And, yes, we'll pass up a restaurant sometimes, hoping they are improving their operation.
I don't mind visiting with the manager cuz if I were the manager I'd want to know about service items that can easily be improved. Social media reviews can be helpful, but also hurtful for the manager's employment.
