I think they just vote "D". It's been this way for a long time. If a Republican can get 7%, they've done awesome.... lol.

That is true. But these are social justice warriors that have been running the country the past 8 years. Obama's passion is the inner cities. I bet they would say the racist Republicans have been rejecting all the good plans for the inner cities.

I think the problems need to be worked on from local governments. Throwing a little federal money their way is not the answer... that is the part that has failed (keeping them comfortable in their poverty). However, the poor in our country are still considered wealthy when compared to the poor in other nations.

It will take the individuals within the communities to make real change. Step 1 should be getting crime under control. Offending and threatening and killing cops is the wrong direction. smh

What a ridiculous statement from another Trump hater.

this is a strong and well-reasoned argument, but i don't hate trump -- i just think he would make a horrible president.

Actually you commended the black voting block for knowing that he would be as terrible as Hillary. That's not sound reasoning and certainly not the reason black voters are not backing him.

it wasn't reasoning, it was a statement of what i suspect the facts to be.

One poll, the Quinnipac, I think, shows the effects of the 3rd party candidates. I say "I think" because I saw this on TV a little while ago and am during this from memory. Short-term memory lapses, ya know. Anyway....Oh yeah! had a flashback. All 9 of the most critical states are being impacted by the minor party candidates. This one kind of surprised me:

    Colorado is Killary 41% Trump 33% Johnson 16% Stein 6% Others 4%.

If this is accurate, then the Libertarian dude is killing Trump. But, being a libtard state, I would have thought Stein would be polling higher. Makes me question those numbers.

Out of the 9 states (and yes, the graphic was not up long, so excuse me if I get this somewhat wrong), that really count, I recall Trump is trailing in all 9, but several by just a few points, within the margin of error, and Johnson is polling enough, that if added to Trump's numbers, would give him wins in 7 of those states. Stein is hurting Killary in just one of those.

If these numbers hold, then Johnson supporters will put Killary into the WH.

Okay, yes, it's still a looooong way to November. A lot can still happen.

It's astonishing to me that the GOP doesn't understand math. The Democratic party starts off with about 91% of the electoral votes needed to get the nomination if they win the states that they have won for the last six elections. All that is needed for them to win the election in 2016 is to win just one or two tossup states - that's it! In 2012, Romney could have won the swing states of Florida, Ohio, and Virginia and still lost the election. Trump's electoral map looks even more unfavorable than Romney's. It makes one wonder why Trump alienates so many voting groups.

I will discuss and debate any topic. I won't hesitate to comment on Trump's shortcomings and mistakes. You, on the other hand, are nothing but a propagandist. You get asked questions you can't or won't answer and you go all matrix on people.

...and the question I asked about Trump's path to 270?

i answered it. You asked if I was sure I wanted to discuss it. I said that I would. You have yet to answer my initial question you ran from in another thread.

I'll answer for you. Trump has no path to 270 electoral votes.
