I think it will be competitive. A loss might have been just what we needed going into this game. There is no way I can look at this entire year and believe that last Friday wasn't a fluke.
So, who's going to Kentucky for this game? Got an email about tix for the game, on sale at the Tech tix office.
First, it's not really practical to travel that far for a game. Heck! I was gonna be in trouble going to Shreveport Saturday, had that actually happened. But, travel issues aside...it's hard to get excited about a team that doesn't seem to care themselves.
Yeah, Tech fans will need a healthy (or unhealthy) dose of bourbon to drown our sorrows. Going to the game? Here's some advice:

I'd recommend the bourbon trail - did it a couple of yrs ago. It is relatively nearby.

* They have a big advantage with their pass offense vs our pass defense.
* We don't run well and they are excellent against the run.
* We pass extremely well (when healthy and focused), but they are pretty good against the pass.
* Statistically, they should win comfortably. We will need to play out of our minds to win this one on the road. Our passing game needs to be outstanding... we are a 1 trick pony. We pass well.
Just once, I'd like to see LA Tech surprise me by winning one they were not expected to win. It's been a long time since that has happened with this program.
