Just ran into some hog fans at the store wearing my Tech hoodie. One guy said "good game tonight, we'll get you tomorrow". I said "thanks, we owe you guys for football this year". He didn't disagree. Hog fans aren't that bad. I've been used to obnoxious LSU fans my whole life, but my last 6 months in hog country has shown me that these guys are about as evenly minded as SEC fans get.
Nice to hear. Out of curiosity checked their forum using the link posted earlier and read through their comments. Some made comments like "This is the CWS to them!" but others were more rational about it. One or two had said before the game started they just wanted to split the series. How was the overall game operation (traffic, entry, concession, sound, etc)? Did our staff prepare for this big turnout?
McClelland gave a good interview during the broadcast. He had several good things to say about Tech, got along well with the Arkansas broadcasters, and represented us well IMHO. The announcers seemed genuinely impressed with Louisiana Tech's facilities, team, and atmosphere.

I never saw a line at the concession (Although the middle mens room had a 6th inning line . . . .)
The concession setup with a separate drink station should be standard for every home game.
Parking was available towards the Lambright Center.
Seats were monitored, as was the right field gate by the RR bridge.
Hats off to the GameDay ops.
We just need more seating down the lines if these SEC fans are gonna come back.
There was plenty of Razorback red in town. I thanked several and encouraged them to tell their baseball coach and AD we can have a great annual series.

I noticed that at the UALR game... I THINK it was played as an enemy batter approached the plate if there were already two outs. Thats at least the only time I noticed it.

I also like the fact we threw our Friday nite starter vs them, since it's our World Series and all....

I got there early so I had no issues. With school being out parking was never going to be an issue. The crowd size was approximately the same we have for a MBB game so it was never a problem. Glad to hear the concessions went well. I did not want to miss any of the game to go.
Yet they asked for and received information from Tech's SID but chose not to report some of it like...for the second year in a row, LaTech handed Arkansas their first loss of the season.
