Is this the same ilk that the Dawgs have beaten the last three times we have played?
The one thing ULL had over Tech was baseball. Watching the meltdown now that we can beat them in even their one good sport is beautiful.
our batters have been on the beach since Sunday
ULL has lost their 2 Conference series. Coach on Monday's Talk Show, was wanting to work pitchers that haven't seen much action this season. More concerned with weekend series than beating ULL at any cost.
This one's over.
I guess I am still missing something this season, basically we has everyone return from last year-and we cannot get any consistency. My biggest concern is the loss of so many seniors and not seeing anyone filling the void. Expectations for next year, seem filled with alot rookies. Restocking in every postion. Diaz is a junior, but may be drafted.
Tech only scored 1 run? WTF? Who was pitching for the Leopards, Nolan Ryan?
Geez.....you're not going to win many games only scoring 1 run. That's pathetic.
For those of you that attended the game.
What was your impression of ull's new stadium? They try and make it out to be "one of the best" in the country.
I went inside the place for three innings during their astate series. An old budd's son pitches for the red wolves. In my limited opinion the brick exterior is impressive. The inside was just another ball park. I wasn't impressed.
Their reliever that shut us down in the 6th inning is very impressive. Bases loaded and then 3 strike outs. I don't remember a single time out by our guys in that stretch. Take a little time, get your optics set, and get him out of his groove. That's what I was taught. That pitcher is the real deal, although no Nolan Ryan.
