Tech XXI retires from active service as live mascot

Looks kinda like a mix of the Old English and American Bulldog.

Lets get us a young buck English and cute little American miss and start our own breed.

Kind of agree with CHC, maybe start our own breed.

As you can see from the above post there are no guarantees, Rescues are risky, "properly vetted" dogs are risky, what is not risky about the breed we have chosen? Just start picking up a rescue every other year and cutting the odds that you will lose a dog during his tenure, have one always waiting on standby. We have backup QB's, why not backup Bulldogs.

Why is this such a big problem for LA Tech? And why is it so difficult to find and keep a good Bulldog? This is supposed to be the easy stuff.

Since October. It isn't a problem, unless you want it to be a problem. As far as I know we don't know why they retired the last one, right? Why would they plan to announce a mascot's retirement in October? Under normal circumstances, would it not make sense to do that at the end of the year? It feels unplanned.

LOL I just have 2 Main Coons now. Had to travel too much to keep my cat showing going. The Main Coons are 4 times his size, though - around 25 lbs each and not finished growing.
