Some communists on that list. And threatening private institutions with targeted government action is not very capitalist. Trump shares the unique pattern of behavior as those on your list that preceded their autocratic rule. I think American institutions are stronger and provide a better check, but it still relies on the better judgment of the governed, and our wannabe tyrant has tapped into the American shadow.
Nobody has been threatened. Voters were reminded or informed. That's what the drive by media and Washington establishment hate the most...they no longer control the information coming out of Washington.
Don't forget about Chavez and Maduro, with a lapdog audience of Hollywood geniuses (Moore, Penn, Oliver Stone). You don't have to go back very far to see what the left is up to.

Sure...we need to be ever mindful of anyone who wants to usurp power and try to use the office they are in to do more than the Constitution permits. That's why I am alarmed when any POTUS issues executive orders and says openly he does not care about the will of the people and he will just go around Congress because, "I have a phone and a pen." Trump shouldn't have done/said that....oh wait! Trump didn't. That was your boy obummer who did that! Funny you weren't concerned about the POTUS becoming a tyrant then.
President Trump has used executive orders to undo obummer's and had turned issues like HC back over to Congress, a duly elected body that is supposed to represent the people. That doesn't sound like the actions of a would-be tyrant. Sounds like an anti-tyrant, actually.

You completely ignore the fact that he has competent military advisors who have our nation's best interest at heart. That's a 180 from the past 8 years. Do you believe, like Obama, that the US owes more to countries like North Korea and Iran?
I agree with you on a lot in this thread but the Doomsday clock is based on opinions and is essentially meaningless. It's fine to say "we THINK war is close" but I wouldnt put any stock in the number itself.
