So, LA Tech is 1st in the nation in defensive scoring TD's & 2nd in INT's? WOW!

Of course, this simply means that LA Tech should NOT have lost 6 games this season.

Louisiana Tech looked so fresh and rested....fast and more physical compared to the rest of the year. I think we were more banged up than we ever realized.....but all the pieces came into place last night.

Skip kept telling everyone that, but he finally stopped saying it because he was catching flack for people thinking he was using it as an excuse.

It is an excuse. It's a silly excuse. What were we so banged up from? Playing NSU? Maybe it was the tough CUSA schedule?

We only played two teams all season that probably had better talent than us: USC & MSU. It's not like our schedule was loaded with ball busters.

I do believe we had a lot of injuries, that was obvious at times, but how many were really legitament ? I am wondering if conditioning had something to do with that, I couldn't say myself, maybe we just have a lot of snowflakes.

I don't know if any of you follow Hester on twitter, but he took a shot at all of the "Tech Haters", I assume that was probably some of the strong critics here and probably on BTB(not a member, don't know).

Fake Tech fans? I've been a critic of this staff, time to time, and will continue to be when warranted. I have also sung the praises of Holtz & Staff, when warranted. But, am I included in Hester's "fake fans" group? Hmmmm....well, from 1976 through the present I can be found near the South 40, STANDING and YELLING until I am hoarse, at Aillet, and in fact, I am just now getting my voice back from the other night. If Hester thinks I'm a "fake fan" he can come stand next to me for a Tech game.

BTW, Marshall is currently on a 5-game bowl win streak, although it may not be the last 5 years straight.

Speaking of which...we were one of nine schools to end last year on at least a 3-game bowl win streak. WKU was one of the nine, but they lost this year. I think one of the nine didn't make a bowl this year, so only 8 had a chance to continue the streak. Had the whole list somewhere....from memory it included, Tech, WKU, and Marshall, and Utah, Boston College, Tennessee, Clemson, and....can't remember.

I didn't bother to tweet back, just did not have anything good to say so I refrained, it did get me going though. The Fake fans thing, not sure who he was referring too, but I would assume his critics, critics are not fake fans, just concerned and dedicated.

Again, not sure who he was bunching in to that "fake fans" category, but if he is looking at some of the critics, well they are some of the most dedicated and many of them have been fans since before Hester was born. I am not an anti-Hester guy, I hope he is doing a good job, but if I know he is not, I will not hesitate to point it out if I feel like it needs to be, nothing personal, just being a FAN.

Hester was just defending the players and coaching staff. No harm/no foul.... I like that in a person. The "fake" was a little silly, but I like the attitude.

I doubt it is a "person" thing, not even the message. It is more about the "I'm the Critic" tone that sickens me.
