    Re: Terrorism in America

That is true. Everyone says, and by everyone I mean both staunch Repub and democrap supporters, that some person runs for office with actual good intentions, but after getting to DC finds out there is little to nothing he/she can do to change things. After a while they either put their idealistic notions on the shelf, join in, get rich!! or leave DC poorer than he/she went there.

We all say "we know this to be true," yet we continue to let it go on....with a shrug, hoping OUR crook throws us some crumbs along the way.

As much as I despise Bernie Sanders' political views, I am encouraged that he represents the left's foray into "Drain the Swamp." The Swamp needs to be attacked from both ends. Of course the Swamp represents the political middle. It has to, to survive. Naturally it would be the two wings....those furthest removed from the swampy middle....that would get fed up first and actually do something.

Those on the fringe of the swamp will be next. From the Right's point of view, those are the RINOs and those like 'em. Right now they can't see anyway out of this quagmire and "go along to get along." But, as momentum builds they can be saved from the "dark side." This is why, although I am hardly a Trumpite, I want to see him have success in office. The whole "drain the swamp" movement will be set back a decade if the swampsters and their willing allies and the "zombies" get their way.

I agree except Bernie probably wants to secretly zoom right past socialism to communism like Hillary and Obama (in truth O probably wanted to rocket right to a shiite/sharia law nation).

    Anyway....DRAIN THE ELITIST SWAMP!!

Is that true? I have been busy today and away from the TV, so I haven't heard a thing about this shooter, except his name Something Cruz.

Definitely a horrific act by another lost soul.
Prayers out to all of the families. I'm not sure about your other rants Guisslapp. We will probably find he was one in the line of many killers that was mentally ill and/or on psychotic drugs. Then again he just had "girl problems" as well. This young man had also recently lost his last living parent to the flu and was in need of much emotional help. So sad!
And yet another the politicized FBI missed badly when you read about the heads-up they received.

"He also said Cruz had "trouble with a girl" and he believed the timing of the attack, Valentine's Day, wasn't a coincidence.
Cruz legally purchased the AR-15 semiautomatic rifle that he used in the mass shooting, Shepard Smith reported.
Students at the school said there were plenty of red flags about Cruz, who was expelled last year after a fight with his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend.
Cruz was known to have an affinity for guns and shooting animals and students said they used to joke about him carrying out a mass shooting.
A teacher at the school said an email was sent out last year warning that Cruz should not be allowed to have a backpack on campus.
The FBI said they were notified of a YouTube comment last year by a user with the same name, declaring "I'm going to be a professional school shooter."
Agents, however, failed to identify the person behind the account. "

That is from his social media posts. He was also connected to a white supremicist group.

It almost always is, but you know you would be ranting all over the place if this guy claimed to be Muslim, was associated with Antifa, was a Hillary supporter, was an immigrant, or any of your other favorite boogeyman. Don’t even pretend otherwise. This thread is full of that nonsense.

His white separatist philosophy should serve him well in the Florida prison system. The rest of his life will likely be full of fun and frivolity.

Then they'll put him to sleep.

What has happened in American society to make people do this? We've always had guns and always had mental illness, but never this kind of stuff in this volume. The Mmmmm ist ruthless gunfighters of the old west didn't kill as indiscriminately.

This thread is probably 99% about the true and consistent Islamic ideologic threat and murderous actions against America, American military and innocent American lives. But yes like you just stated above, "being associated with Antifa, a strong Hillary supporter, or being an illegal immigrant" are keys and signs of one that might potentially (maybe even more likely) to try to resolve conflict with a violent act.

According to a CNN report this morning, Nik Cruz was NOT a member of any such group. He went to one "training" event as a guest of a member of the Republic of Florida, which is a group fighting for the rights of white people... you know, the only demographic that can be discriminated against. Actually, this ROF wants to make Florida "all white" or some such nonsense as that. Attending ONE EVENT as a guest does not "connect" anyone to a group. The group did not invite Cruz, initiate contact with Cruz, try to recruit Cruz, and did not communicate with Cruz in any manner after his one guest attendance.

There is no mention of "President Trump" in the social media posts that have been released so far. So, I don't see how anyone can say he's a Trumper. He himself didn't say one way or the other. In fact, Cruz attacked both leftists, and libtard groups, like ANTIFA, and the police in general, saying he wanted to kill policemen. That's what ANTIFA and BLM shout about too. Sounds like he should have joined ANTIFA, since he shares their vision. He posted things about blacks and Muslims too. He was (is) confused.

His adoptive mother just passed away, this November, leaving him an orphan again, and was taken in by a family. He is a mentally disturbed individual, obviously very dangerous to society. And that is the ONLY thread that connects all these crazed shooters. They are mentally deranged.

Oh, and great job FBI! The chithead used his real name on posts, said where he was, and the gallant FBI "couldn't locate him." Well, we shouldn't blame the FBI too much. They have been busily distracted creating false crap against the Trump Campaign, in cahoots with the DNC, Krooked Killary, and obummer.

Cruz always had his hair short and had a penchant for wearing patriotic shirts that “seemed really extreme, like hating on” Islam, Parodie said. The suspected gunman would also deride Muslims as “terrorists and bombers.”

“I’ve seen him wear a Trump hat,” the student said.
