Last week the libtard lamestream media showed video from 2014...kids in cages...and tried to convince the legions of the ignorant this was happening now...bad, bad Mr. Trump! Then when that was debunked, it was well, maybe not cages, but these detention centers are horrid...bad, bad Mr. Trump! Now that that has been debunked, it's "well the facilities are fine, it's this separation issue..."

“It’s about safety!”
-Less violent than natives
“It’s about money!”
-Costs more to fix than the current problem all the while the admins plan adds over a trillion to federal deficit
“It’s the law!”
-like Obamacare?
It’s not defensible and you know it. And, regardless of what you think of the morality of separating kids from their parents, you’ve got to admit that the admin has bungled this in every way possible.
Sessions trying to use the Bible to justify the position even lined up a bunch of evangelicals who had previously supported Trump against him.
If he were smart, he’d retire Miller yesterday.
I don’t follow the libtard media so I don’t know what they were complaining about. On this particular issue - my complaint has been consistent.
I have read mixed reports about the conditions of the camps - which is not surprising given that there are quite a few of them and some of the locations are not a matter of public record (particularly the tender age camps). There is at least one tent camp that recently opened and there are some that are in wharehouse like structures.
I suspect it is fair to criticize the conditions at some of the camps, but the issue has been and always will be the inhumanity of separating these kids from their parents and putting them in camps. And this is nothing like how we treat kids in America whose parents violate the law, misdemeanor or otherwise.
There are some rumors going around that workers aren’t allowed to contact and comfort the crying babies at the tender age camps, but I haven’t really seen anything concrete on this yet. Regardless of that, this is a very traumatic thing to put these kids through.
And it is not necessary - it is a choice that Trump and Session made. This is a Trump manufactured crisis. Apparently his sole negotiation mode involves political brinksmanship and hoping that the other side bleeds first because they have greater compassion and humanity.
This is a Trump manufactured crisis.
You follow the leftist playbook well. Keep posting a lie, over and over and over, until enough ignorant people come to think it's true.
Told you before, that doesn't work here. Only you and one other regular poster are so ignorant here.
Can we all agree that no one in power truly wants any of this to change? If all the issues of today begin to be resolved, then what do they run on for re-election? If they really want change, then they have to be willing to sit down and solve issues and take the chance that they won’t get re-elected.
The way it should go(extreme example, but allow me some license here):
Issue: Abortion
Dems say, “we want it.”
Reps say, “okay, you write the abortion policy and we will attach our portion that requires that rapists be executed along with the baby.”
Immigration:
Dems say, “we want it open to anyone and everyone.”
Reps say, “okay, and for the first 5 years an immigrant is here, they have to wear a gps anklet so that we can find them when they don’t report in to their immigration officer at appropriate times or when they stop showing up for work.”
But this will never happen because then politicians can’t run on:
“If you re-elect me, I will continue to fight against/for ..........”
With all the human trafficing at the border, how do you know the person that says they are a parent is actually a parent? With so many being just dumped at the border (that is great parenting, don't you think?), how do you know who is real and who is not? No papers....just a person saying they are a parent and a child.
I thought the Obama policy was much worse. I read that one member of the family would be taken to a border crossing sometimes many hundreds of miles from where they originally crossed and released back into Mexico. The rest of the family would not know where. So, unless they were all given Obama phones (I don't doubt it) and each other's numbers, they were pretty much on their own to find their loved ones.
This is another manufactured crisis by the dem party and the media. The fact that all these people are showing up on our border with no belongings and no papers and no way to find out if they are who they say they are is the real crisis. If you really gave a crap about them you'd recognize this and work to discourage the process.
Being a border patrol agent must be a heartbreaking job....especially when the political lemmings keep using you to drive a narrative. Under Obama this kind of stuff got a bunch of law enforcement agents murdered in the streets. Your ilk must be very proud.
I like this idea by Sessions.
DNA TESTS FOR BORDER KIDS, PARENTS?

The choice is to criminally prosecute and separate the families or to send them to immigration court for deportation hearing.
As far as proving relationship goes - that is part of the civil proceedings. If you really want to see how they prove the relationship, here is a summary:

Democrats aren't interested in solving the problem, they'd rather keep this as a political issue. https://www.washingtontimes.com/news...tm_medium=push What kind of mother would try to make over a 1000 mile trip on foot with a young child? If a US citizen did this, her child would be taken away.
