On the subject of a barrier on our southern border...
I have been one-upped! Yes, a poster on a blog responded to my motion-detector machine guns, etc... with a better proposal. I am embarrassed I didn't think of this one myself. He proposes an electric fence. So, you ask? Well, his will randomly turn on and off, no set pattern, with NO warning lights or anything. Just sometimes it'll be on and sometimes it won't. Even the periods of each will vary greatly. The illegals will have no way of knowing if it is on, and how long it will stay on, or if its off, they won't know if it might pop on any second.
Someone said they could just throw a metal object at it and it will spark if on. But he responded that there will be a series of fences, and each fence will have three separate systems. At times ALL THREE will be off together, and at other times one or two will be live, the other off. He thinks even the most nimble illegal would take about 2 mins to scale all the fences and yes, to be fair, there will be random times when all wires will be off for a period of 2 mins+. So, it is possible for someone to safely make it.
The entertainment value of this set up alone would be worth the cost! We could have video cameras to record those who guessed wrong!
I am humbled...and bow to the fellow with the better idea.

Long "defeated" diseases are making comebacks in Los Angeles and other such sanctuary cities. Did you ever read Poe's "The Mask of the Red Death?" I say Pelosi et al get such visitors.
