Schiff was interviewed and asked if he was going to still call Bolton to appear before House committee. He said that he has no current plans to call Bolton to testify. You see it was never about Bolton, otherwise he would have him come before committee.
They already proved their case. The purpose of calling him was for Americans and the Republican Senators to hear directly from him what everyone reading the facts already knows happened.
Republicans were never going to remove Trump from office no matter how much evidence Schiff brought. It is too easy for the Republicans to avoid accountability to the public of the public doesn’t hear from Bolton. That is why they didn’t want to allow him to testify, and you know this.
Schiff brought zero facts worth impeachment of a PRESIDENT OF THE USA to their case. Zilch/nada! And folks like Bolton that write books, after getting canned from the WH, embellish like crazy to a fault and aren't believable.
This whole thing ended up being a liberal political hack job and witch hunt, by a warlock Schiff, just like Trump and his team stated. It is looking like they will have bi-partisan support for acquittal. Just as they had bi-partisan support in the house to not impeach. This whole mess backfired bigly on the democrats.

Yeah, but it is hard to imagine you watching CNN or MSNBC. FoxNews barely showed any of the House’s case.
Those that brought the case knew all along that Republicans were not going to break from Trump, but they brought it anyway - knowing the political risk it carried. You can say that Schiff was in no danger of losing his seat, but that ignores the risk he faces in losing control/seats in the House.
They did it because it was the right thing to do and the only way to protect Congress’s ability to provide a check on the power of the executive office. It was a noble cause and those that brought the case and stood on the right side of history are heroes. Acquitting the president on these facts spells trouble for the future.
There are certainly some Dems in red states that will choose not to subject themselves to political risk to be on the losing side of a vote. Ultimately, they are cowards too.
