Great question. I wonder where one can find this type of information.

I do know I wouldn't want to fly to, or be in, any of the liberal sanctuary cities or states in America right now. I would love to see these stats on the number of infected and deaths in all of those liberal sanctuary cities or states in America. We will never see that addressed as a statistic I'm sure. That said, it's easy to count up. Just take a look at the worse infected cities and states in our country now. And how about California's San Fransisco where they're allowed to crap and piss on the streets without any ramification. That will soon be a mess I bet.

Yeah, but they are among the population sectors most likely to contract it. So, that is a very, very good question. Shouldn't we be hearing about airline employees, especially flight crews, infected with a disproportionate rate? I know a flight attendant but she moved to Dallas a few years ago.

Testing resources are still limited. One of the pilots I know had symptoms, tried to get tested last week, and couldn’t.

Costco, the big-box store known for its flexible return policy, is reportedly no longer accepting returns on several in-demand items such as toilet paper, paper towels, sanitizing wipes, water, rice or Lysol.

But are there cases of airline workers developing symptoms, and if yes, is it at a higher than normal rate? Not being tested won't mean someone can't get sick if exposed.

They can’t social distance as easily as the rest of us, so I think that puts them at higher risk.

Understood, and that is why the question has been posed about those in that industry. One would think if Covid-19 is as contagious as we have been led to believe we would already be seeing news about a bunch of airline workers infected. For the very reason you mention. Heck, air inside the cabin of an airliner is recycled. Yuck! Through filters, yes, but who's to say the filters will catch something as small as a virus cell? Probably won't!

Point is, it is curious that those in such a high-risk job have not been exposed at a very high rate.

I would be more worried about the crew that hands people drinks than the pilots.

The air in the plane is less problematic. The airflow pushes the air down where it is picked up at the floor and cleaned through a series of filters before a portion of it is mixed with fresh air and recirculated.

Looks like you are channeling your inner Joe Biden...that's what I said, several times. We agree on the question. So, what is the answer....how come...?

One of the major issues we’re facing is in the supply chain. Hospitals are rationing PPE due to extreme shortages. N95 masks are in very short supply. I just ordered my own 3M half face respirator, and that took me 4 hours of searching before I could find one and a couple of filters to go with it. You can go to 3M’s website and see for yourself. They have stopped selling any products to the public. You can buy the masks in other places, but the filters for them all have an expected delivery time of the end of April to July.

The VA used 95 boxes a week and it went to 400 once the virus made the news. How many do you think walked out of the VA?

I don’t know the answer, because I don’t think occupations are being reported on the positive cases.

Hundreds. And now people have bought up and hoarded massive amounts of them. I can tell you the situation is dire as far as PPE is concerned.

Korea learned all of this with mears but since we let it run its course we weren't prepared for this nasty bug. We will now be ready for the next one with testing kits to find infection centers and quarantine them and stop the spread. We will have ppe and ventilators . This thing has already mutated once and by next year it could be back in a new form. Treatments, vaccine, and supplies need to be ready next year. Let's see how it is handled.

Third straight day with no new cases in Wuhan, China (ground zero). Maybe the virus has a shelf-life. Or, maybe it's because everyone is already dead in Wuhan...
