Of course, and that's how Trump built a $billion business by hiring incompetent people. And, that's how he's been able to accomplish scores of incredible things on behalf of America, Americans, and of our allies. All while having to fend off one bogus hoax investigation after another. Unless! you think he is so awesome he simply accomplishes all of this through his own personal efforts without the help of subordinates. Wow! He's either super awesome, or he's super, super awesome!
I can accept either choice...
Anyone could be a billionaire if you start out a millionaire and you are willing to take enough bankruptcy failures getting there.
Trump made is money in real estate, where he could basically choose who he wanted to deal with and move on from people that were better than him. You can’t really do that as POTUS.
But he's been just as successful as POTUS. I know with your acute TDS you will put your hands over your ears and do that "lah, lah, lah…" stuff, I'm not listening!
And, I will say, yes, it is fairly easy to make money in real estate. I've done it without really trying that hard. I have been telling people for decades, "get into real estate, in some capacity!" Very few listened and now are envious of my position. But, I never tackled the level Trump did. It's like when you're building a business, starting out as a small business. The first $1 million in gross sales is easy. Then, depending on the industry, the next $million can be a challenge. But then to go from say, $2-3 million to $10 million is a quantum leap. It's like going to the moon and then saying next time we're traveling to Saturn. Ah, no. HUGE DIFFERENCE! All that to say, not everyone can accomplish the level of success/wealth Trump did in real estate. If you think it's so easy...go ahead, do it.
I didn't realize Navarro was an economist until I read some of his stuff. Apparently he was correct in some of what he predicted. However, if you've got an economist indicating something bad and health experts indicating its no problem who do you listen to. For all I know some health experts may have been giving Trump similar advice.
BS! Not the experience I have had. The first 10k was the hardest 10k to earn, the first 100k was the hardest 100k to earn, the first 1 MM was the hardest...if you have millions, it isn’t hard to make millions, and it doesn’t take too long for that, reinvested to make billions over a lifetime. It is the same thing as starting off with nothing and becoming a millionaire - that happens all the time across America.
Also, when you are willing to use enough leverage to risk bankruptcy time and time again (I am not), it is even easier to grow wealth quickly.
Also, if you are willing to cheat people and use illegal businesses practices (I am not), you can shortcut it some too.
Trump is a personal failure and a failure as POTUS. He has literally done nothing worthy of praise and so many things worthy of scorn.
He could never have been a CEO of a public company, because he is too unethical and refuses to be accountable to his stakeholders. He can only work for his own interest - that is all he has ever known.
He is the scuzziest person that has ever run for President.
He got caught with his pants down on COVID 19 and does not know how to lead in a crisis. A complete failure and hopefully his poor leadership does not become an exemplar of acceptable leadership for impressionable Americans, because, if other Americans modeled his horrible leadership style, it will further destroy America’s strength from within.
Which Heath experts were telling him he had nothing to worry about? Even the quotes Fauci made to the media - clearly intended for a public audience and not meant as presidential advice - indicated it would be a major problem if it got here without use being able to isolate it.
Navarro has been highly focused on China. He was intimately familiar and plugged in as to what is going on there. Those of us even slightly engaged with business in China understood how serious this was. Like I said countless times - China doesn’t turn off their economy off for 6 weeks for anything short of a serious crisis. That is all the warning we really needed not to overlook this threat.
Sorry. They revoked my privilege to sit in on the Presidential calls. Up until around Feb 25 Fauci was saying there was no problem (at least that's what I think I determined and presented in a previous post). Glad you can discern what type of statement Fauci makes dependent upon his audience. Maybe Fauci got the economist's memo.
Why didn’t other big cities in China get the virus, like Bejing?
