Oh well! no competent leadership in the places hit the hardest, all Dems in charge.

And you are an effing POS! WHO is in cahoots with the Chicoms and is duplicit in its spread, and all the deaths and economic destruction. Facebook is too. They are allowing WHO to determine which posts will be allowed to stay up.

Well, they had plenty of testing in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong. 400 sq miles with one basic airport and a population of 7 million. The government is more streamlined (no pesky dem governors to beg and beg, then whine and complain).

Yeah, I see how we compare with them. Do you think before you post?

Europe is a better comparison with the EU in place, because you have each country in the EU with a separate government, multiple airports per country and free movement between each nation. We compare very well in that respect.

I forgot about how the citizens of Europe elect the president of the EU to oversee an agency charged with infectious disease response. Do you think before you post?

Accurate testing? If so, it's because the Chicoms provided their "people" with it prior to the release of the virus, since they knew it was coming. As in, "there's about to be a bad viral outbreak, here's a test you can use."

WHEN, exactly, did HK start this testing they had plenty of? And what was the method/test used? The early testing in Europe, especially in Germany, Spain, and Italy some were boasting about a couple of months ago proved woefully inaccurate. That method was dumped in favor of one that actually works. All the praise they got proved to be false.

You could read the article I linked. Hong Kong didn’t wait until March to start taking this seriously. They started testing in January. Didn’t have to lockdown their economy.

We have a president who still thinks governors are the ones responsible for testing. Is there any surprise that we still don’t have testing capacity when we have a president that doesn’t hold himself accountable for anything?

Need to be able to test 500k people a day to be able to reopen at this point. That is basically triple what we are doing now. On a per capita basis that would be similar to Germany.

Where/What is the testing you want to be "rolled out"? What testing did Hong Kong have that was so accurate and how did they implement? You didn't mention Singapore. I assume you didn't like the way they handled this early on. Oh, BTW, your expert says there are likely 5 to 10 times as many cases as have actually been detected. There's the potential 75% who may have been infected that "nobody believes". Your WHO expert believes the number is significant. He indirectly says the number of cases could actually be over 7 million in the US.

Both quickly set up systems to try to identify and treat every case in their territory. Hong Kong developed diagnostic tests and rapidly deployed them to labs at every major hospital in the city. At one point in February, Hong Kong had 12,000 people in quarantine. Singapore's prime minister called for calm and assured residents that all health care related to the disease would be free.

I'm not knocking Hong Kong. It has changed since 1997, but it still remains a very robust economic engine in the world. Have a friend who took a job in an import-export company there in 1988, later secured a position at one of the banks, and is still there today, a VP at a large international bank. He messages us on occasion. He's a graduate of NSU with a degree in Business Administration, was one of my wife's first students when she first started teaching business at NSU in 1986. Had a chance to visit with him when we traveled there between 1991-95.

But! unless the Chicoms set 'em up, HK was is in no better position to accurately test anyone for the SARS II Wuhan CHICOM virus early on than we were. As the Europeans soon learned the early tests returned false positives as it was detecting viral remnants from influenza viruses and other viruses we have traces of in our bodies. Before the Chicoms started their dangerous virology development (weapons' grade agents) there were 2,000 known viruses, now there are 4,000 thanks to the Chicoms (most of which are rather harmless to humans). Most of us, probably all of us, have a variety of viral traces from past encounters. The early tests were detecting those and returning positive results.

Don't listen to Goosey, WHO, the goofy libtards, and especially the Chicoms, they are all liars with a political agenda to destroy America, as a first step to take over the world.

We can talk about Singapore too. Why do you demand that I cover every event in everyone one of my posts that I type with my thumbs?

As far as HK goes....the accuracy of the test may not matter. I made that point earlier, you just didn’t want to listen. Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good enough. The HK test was clearly good enough based on their results. With a fast moving disease like COVID, time is of the essence. An average test available in January is worth way more than a perfect test delivered in April. The reason for this is that is obvious, and (BTW), if you don’t get your test out until March you are going to need magnitudes more of it because you will be needing to test far more people as the disease spreads!

This coronavirus thing just demonstrates how important it is to have a real leader that believes in government rather than a TV president that just believes in breaking stuff. You guys brought this disaster onto America and our economy. You should learn from your mistakes, because your “leader” has proven he is incapable of it.

They started taking this seriously two months before us. That is the difference. They didn’t need a better test. They made it work because they knew they needed to. They weren’t thinking the job was done by restricting travel from China.

Did you read the study the article is based on? 1000 tests/day in early March. The first cases showed up in late January.

Bingo! couldn't have said it better myself. All you need to know to dismiss everything Goosey posts.

Here, a REAL LEADER believes in America, and what she stands for, and believes in true Americans who embrace freedom and liberty. Government exists to serve the people. Goosey believes people exist to serve the government.

And Beijing, China is showing zero deaths? 🤪 Latest reports coming out of Wuhan are saying there’s at least over 100,000 deaths there for goodness sakes. Nobody can believe communist or socialist.
