The snowflake keeps saying wear masks, but our Governor is saying face coverings. Big difference. I think they should arrest people who don't don't have proper masking. That would include these idiots who wear a bandanna that does absolutely NOTHING to keep the snowflakes and sick people safe. Yes, instead of fines, just lock 'em up. There is plenty of room after the liberals have turned loose those in danger of getting sick in jail.

If you locked up all the brain dead people who don’t know how to properly wear the mask, the jail would be full. Our governor would be in there with them too. Sheila Jackson Lee(isn’t she on some oversight committee pertaining to this very illness?) is another good example.

A mask and a face covering is the same thing. The key is that it should cover your mouth and nose, preferably cotton. A dirty bandana face covering worn over the mouth and nose is better than a zoro or Halloween mask. I don’t get your semantics over masks and face coverings. Those words mean the same thing.

I see what has happened. The CDC is now generalizing the term and calling them all "face coverings". The CDC is the gospel of China Virus and all concerned.

    I'll play...

Assuming this is really about keeping those other than the "face covering" wearer safe, the masks provide a somewhat protective shield for your face. A dangling cloth won't do that. Think sneeze or cough.

This nazi like edict will eventually bring on more trouble than is prevents when fines begin to being issued and the local authorities use their discretion to decide who gets the fine and who does not.

The masks or face coverings should be a suggestion not a mandate. You are all about more rules right?

Has the CDC changed what they are calling things? I have no idea. The two terms have always been synonymous to me. I never understood what distinction you were drawing.

What do you see when you go out in public? You see some who attempt to comply by properly wearing a clean mask that has a snug fit that supposedly helps prevent germs from transmitting to others. You see those who wear nasty looking dust masks that probably do more harm than good, then you see those who sport the western look bandannas. Those are just insane, but I'm sure our governor will give them a pass.

Who are these people who you see driving their car (alone) while wearing a mask? The same people who you see walking, running or biking while wearing a mask?

I see people wearing masks and people not wearing masks. I haven’t seen people driving wearing masks, but I could imagine if you have one with straps you have to tie, you might just keep it on while driving rather than re-tying the thing multiple times.

I see people driving cars wearing masks. I just assume they are running errands, getting in and out the car so just leave it on. And/or they have gotten comfortable with it on and don't think anything about it. For me, the ones I have are hard to breathe thru. So, I wear it only when I am heading into a public setting inside...like Walmart. And take it off when back in my vehicle. But, that's just me...

    Same.

And driving in to work today I saw someone wearing a bandana walking their dog. The way they were wearing the bandana provides better coverage than most masks I have seen, so I don’t know what you are seeing.

Exactly, a bandana worn that way provides better coverage than almost any other mask people are wearing.

LOL! Tell it to the medical professionals who wear surgical type (double tie) masks. Why don't they take this faux mask route if it provides the best coverage? The LOOSE FITTING bandannas allow more germs to escape and possibly infect snowflakes who get w/in six feet.

Yeah, I am not sure how you legally certify that you are searching for a job for purposes of claiming unemployment while turning down work. Gamble I wouldn’t want to take.

Btw, I feel sorry for the Instacart and other service workers that are not being laid off, taking high personal risk, and getting paid less than they would if they were laid off. That sucks.
