Sounds like you are talking about something Cuomo once said about “possessing” Wikileaks documents.
In that situation context matters - the media is on solid footing based on the case dealing with the Pentagon Papers.
In the context of the Clinton/Podesta email thing, it depends on when and how. Once it was posted publicly, I think it would be tricky to prosecute anyone under the Espionage act; however, prior to it being public, you would run some risk trying to get these documents from Wikileaks.
What a “light weight” defense of the dear leader!
Erickson wasn’t addressing Trump, but his sycophants. Trump has always been a rudderless grifter who’s only talent is making headlines. The fact that the party that used to champion their morality has so readily embraced him is what is being addressed.
The “everyone else does it” BS is about as valid now as it’s ever been. First, that’s not true (Hannity and Rush just say it is because Trump’s presidency is a betrayal of 75% of what those two have pitched for most of their careers). Second, it doesn’t matter.
The GOP sold its soul to “own the libs”. The end result? Big debt/deficits, less free trade, less registered Republicans. Congrats.

Turns out that you guys are drawn more to the liars and repulsed by the truth-tellers. Nice graphic in the link above.
What lies did Trump tell yesterday?
Robert Mann used Politifacts as his source. He could've just called Hillary Clinton and got her opinion.
Do you ever cite a legitimate source?
