    Wise: Nope

I could go on, but I know you don't care. You should get honest about why you love him...it's not because he's a conservative. It's because he says nasty things to people you hate...yet PD calls me the hater.
Free trade with a level playing field: Yes

Fiscal conservative: Hmmm.....perhaps not in the oft-used definition, or the traditional definition, but Trump is more a fiscal conservative than scoring him a Nope. Before the $3 trillion pandemic spending package the debt had climbed, over the past three years close to $3 trillion (IDK the exact number). That is true and that is concerning. But, before I bash him for it, I will throw out a few things...

    1) Trump has had to completely rebuild our military. obummer left a mere shell of a defense department. Over half our jets could not fly lacking spare parts. For the first time since 1935 the US did NOT have a single carrier (carrier group) on patrol. Again, due to lack of maintenance and spare parts. We were still involved in wars in the Middle East, on obummer's watch, and yet he caused our military to deteriorate to a state of decay. Trump has had to spend many $billions to rebuild it. Now, one can argue that not all of that spending was necessary...like building 9 brand new super carriers, the USS Ford-class...but at least we know where the money went, and is going. Under obummer PLEASE show me something positive the Federal guvmint did (built) that could account for an additional $12 trillion in debt in 8 years. Infrastructure? Nope! remember the "shovel ready" fiasco? Hell, Trump is building a wall!

    2) Trump also had to rebuild the nation's economy. He inherited an anemic economy and the tax cuts, to stimulate the economy while working, takes time to refill the treasury. It was doing just that...up to a couple of months ago. Tax cuts initially cause a drop to money flowing to the treasury. Of course it does since those cuts are implemented immediately, and over the course of a year, and it takes time for economic growth to create new tax payers.

    3) Now...I agree Trump is often too quick to agree to the Dems' HUGE spending programs, just so he can get something. We've seen that happen several times...including the biggest pandemic relief package. I am VERY pleased to see Trump saying Pelosi's latest Christmas spending binge is DOA! I would think, johnny, you would be glad to see that too...being the libertarian fiscal conservative you claim to be.

    Okay...

as I have posted before, we MUST reverse the accumulating debt. We don't have to retire it anytime soon (and that is virtually impossible) we just need to start knocking chinks out of it. To do that means eliminating the annual deficit and even running a surplus for, for....well, from now on! To do that will require a combination of increased revenues and spending cuts.

Increased revenues....yes, that mostly takes the form of taxes and fees. Let's have a super non-essential worker tax premium on Hollywood, pro-athletes, media darlings, and down to other non-essential workers but based on income. A "progressive" income tax. It should have a sunset clause too. Now, that might be 5 years or more, but it has to end and then force Congress and the POTUS to reinstate if they wish.

Spending cuts...bring on the MAD SLASHER!!! Cut! Cut! Cut! And not just reduction in the planned increase, but real cuts. We can argue where to start, but EVERYTHING needs to be on the table. No sacred cows.

And finally, I know this...we stand a MUCH better chance of something like this happening with Trump in the WH vs. Quid Pro Quo Joe. Any vote for a 3rd party, instead of Trump, is a vote for more fiscal irresponsibility.

And waiting for the tens of thousands of votes to mysteriously show up in favor of Dem Christy Smith in her race with Repub Mike Garcia. This is Katie Hill's open seat after she resigned caught naked with her aids in some kind of group thingy...well, pics anyway. Hill stole the seat in 2018, one of the 8 Congressional seats stolen by the Dems in voter fraud.

    Well stated. You nailed it.

Johnny's the sad one though. At least we all know Guissy is kooky, and believes the nonsense he spews. Johnny Lightweight is just longing for attention. He's just a sad ole never-trumper who hasn't been on the winning side of a single political battle in at least the last 4 years, maybe much longer. No wonder he's bitter!

The really sad part is, 45% say they will vote for Biden anyway. Never mind Biden's got dementia, can't remember his own name, slurs his speech, gropes women, has a woman right now claiming that he raped her, and he has a long history of well-documented corruption. That's just pitiful.

Yes, its is MORE THAN IRONIC, that people like you can't see that your lies keep coming back to haunt YOU! You goofballs haven't figured out yet that every time you try to lie about Trump, it comes back on you and your side. Hence the reference above to Gal 6:7. I mean, your side has lost every single battle.

    - First you lost the 2016 election, after lying about Trump for months.

    - Then Michal Avannati teamed up with Stormy Daniels, lied about Trump, stole Stormy's money, and ended up in prison himself. (You can't make this up! LOL!)

    - Then, you lost the Robert Mueller-Russian Collusion case after lying about having evidence for years.
    - One result was, Trump haters James Comey, Peter Strzok, Andrew McCabe, Lisa Page, Andrew Weissman, Rod Rosenstein, Bruce Ohr, Nellie Ohr, Peter Kadzik and more lost their jobs.

    - Then you lost the Bret Kavanaugh Supreme Court nominee case.
    - Not only did you lose the Kavanaugh case on national TV, Kavanaugh was appointed to the Supreme Court, and Gropey Joe Biden now has his own rape & sexual assault accuser in Tara Reade.

    - Then you lost the Congressional Impeachment inquiry.
    - Trump's approval ratings are higher than ever.

    - Then your side lost the Michael Flynn case, after setting him up and entrapping him, and getting caught at it. Now Michael Flynn walks free.
    - And current polls show Trump donkey-stomping Biden in 15 battle ground states.

You people aren't just crooked, you're not very smart either. And you also don't know when to quit. Ever heard of Karma?

Now it's time for some Dems to go to prison for their role in the Russian Hoax. I can't wait.

    Re: Presidential Election 2020

    Another great post HD!

Last night Biden was live...always a fun watch!...and while commenting on the pandemic stumbles with...

"this pandemic...er, this pandemic...hmmm...we've lost 85,000 jobs, this pandemic, it has infected billions, cost millions of jobs...this pandemic..."

What is that reference to 85,000 jobs? Later in the same rambling he mentions millions of jobs, but what are those 85,000 jobs? Is that a reference to specific business? company? industry? Maybe it's his personal staff or something!

Biden has also changed his story THREE times on his knowledge of and participation in the Flynn scandal.

Finally....they lost the 302 form? Really? They "lost" the 302? Yeah, right. Maybe Goosey has it and is making copies on his copier...

I don't have a side anymore. I've never been a registered democrat and don't plan to be. In fact, I've never voted for a democrat in a national election...and I don't plan to.

But, as usual, you lump all anti-Trumpers into the same bucket. Usually I'm attacking Trump from the right. You see, all that stuff I said before he was elected (for the 13 years I was active here), I believed it. It gets you green dots when you call Obama out on his big government initiatives and over-spending. You get to double up your green dots when you call out any character deficiencies for Obama. Say the same about Trump and you get a lot of backlash.

But hey, it didn't take me long to get the lay of the land after Trump got elected. I'm a big boy and I can handled the pushback.

Just ask yourself a question Michael, would you ever hire Trump to work for you? A guy who has been accused of sexual assault some 25 times...has cut big checks to porn stars...tweets like a 7th grader after a few Red Bulls?

I think we both know the answer, yet you want that guy in charge of the country?

Of course I would (hire him). Are you nuts? (Of course, you are. What was I thinking?)

I knew who Donald Trump was BEFORE the election of 2016. See.....that's the difference. Voters already KNEW Trump was a billionaire playboy, who owned casinos, dabbled in pro sports teams, had been married 3 times, became a reality TV star and liked to hob-knob with professional athletes and the rich and famous. if you didn't already know that, you were living in a cocoon. We KNEW what we were signing up for, and frankly Trump has been a model citizen as POTUS.

I love the fact that Trump is the real deal. Unlike most politicians, he's not claiming to be the purest soul on the planet, and doesn't make any bones about the fact that he's a realist. He doesn't even drink, but again, he doesn't claim to be a boy scout either. And that kind of personality is exactly what Americans need when negotiating with the Chinese, or whomever. What you see is what you get.

Tump turned out to be a much better man for the job of POTUS than anything the Republican party was going to put up. No, Trump is probably not the best choice when it comes to picking a pastor for your local church. But I absolutely do not care one wit about that. I'm not electing a pastor, I'm looking for a president who can best represent my values and the country's interests. And that's Donald Trump without question. He's a fighter for sure, and he doesn't give up, unlike some previous Republican presidents (Crooked George H. W. Bush & George W "don't expect me to fight back") and nominees for president (Mitt ""stab you in the back" Romney).

I've supported 'em all in the past, and I've had enough of these turncoats.

From strong borders, to personal income tax cuts, to conservative Supreme Court nominee choices, to building a strong and independent economy with the lowest jobless rate in American history, and more.....Trump far better represents my interests, much moreso than any president in U.S. history.

Like most "never-Trumpers", you're too caught up in the petty stuff. You can't argue with real facts, because you claim to have conservative values. Instead, you simply dislike Trumps personality, his tweets, the arguments he gets into, and some of the other silly stuff that really shouldn't bother you --if you were a real grown-up (oh well) . You've even admitted as much by talking about this kind of petty stuff earlier in this thread.

There's nothing wrong with not being a "big picture" guy. Not everyone is. And you're not. But your hatred for the petty stuff is blocking your vision to see, both literally and figuratively.
