I knew who Donald Trump was BEFORE the election of 2016. See.....that's the difference. Voters already KNEW Trump was a billionaire playboy, who owned casinos, dabbled in pro sports teams, had been married 3 times, became a reality TV star and liked to hob-knob with professional athletes and the rich and famous. if you didn't already know that, you were living in a cocoon. We KNEW what we were signing up for, and frankly Trump has been a model citizen as POTUS.

I love the fact that Trump is the real deal. Unlike most politicians, he's not claiming to be the purest soul on the planet, and doesn't make any bones about the fact that he's a realist. He doesn't even drink, but again, he doesn't claim to be a boy scout either. And that kind of personality is exactly what Americans need when negotiating with the Chinese, or whomever. What you see is what you get.

Tump turned out to be a much better man for the job of POTUS than anything the Republican party was going to put up. No, Trump is probably not the best choice when it comes to picking a pastor for your local church. But I absolutely do not care one wit about that. I'm not electing a pastor, I'm looking for a president who can best represent my values and the country's interests. And that's Donald Trump without question. He's a fighter for sure, and he doesn't give up, unlike some previous Republican presidents (Crooked George H. W. Bush & George W "don't expect me to fight back") and nominees for president (Mitt ""stab you in the back" Romney).

I've supported 'em all in the past, and I've had enough of these turncoats.

From strong borders, to personal income tax cuts, to conservative Supreme Court nominee choices, to building a strong and independent economy with the lowest jobless rate in American history, and more.....Trump far better represents my interests, much moreso than any president in U.S. history.

Like most "never-Trumpers", you're too caught up in the petty stuff. You can't argue with real facts, because you claim to have conservative values. Instead, you simply dislike Trumps personality, his tweets, the arguments he gets into, and some of the other silly stuff that really shouldn't bother you --if you were a real grown-up (oh well) . You've even admitted as much by talking about this kind of petty stuff earlier in this thread.

There's nothing wrong with not being a "big picture" guy. Not everyone is. And you're not. But your hatred for the petty stuff is blocking your vision to see, both literally and figuratively.

Questions about character, honesty, integrity, loyalty, and intelligence are petty. Got it!

Record deficits and size of government (pre-COVID...what we’ve got now is beyond FDR’s wildest dreams) are exactly what the republicans needed!

Your big picture involves orange colored glasses!

See....you're doing it again, with the "Orange Colored" glasses comment. You can't help yourself. You're just petty. It's the personal things about Trump that you don't like. You don't like his hair color, his tweets, etc..etc... Blah, Blah, Blah. You want a Pastor, not a POTUS.

I don't know how you could question the man's honesty, integrity, loyalty, and intelligence. He's outsmarted every person in Washington --Democrats, Republicans and Never-Trumpers alike. He's kept EVERY promise he ever made during the election cycle. And his supporters adore him because of it. I have a strong feeling THAT his supporters piss you off too. Because you're just that petty.

As for your "record deficits" comment, it's absurd to slap Trump with that. I guess you forget that he inherited a $20T deficit. Furthermore, pre-coronavirus, Tump was GROWING our economy and our personal incomes at a record pace. In turn, the enormous economic growth, combined with better trade & tariff deals with China, Mexico, Canada, and others was expected to make the deficit a smaller percentage of GDP a few years into the future. But since the COVID disaster, all bets are off.

    I
might give Trump some credit if he was doing something...anything to shrink the deficit and size of government.

Trump supporters don't piss me off and I don't hate Trump. Trump is now who he's always been. He's a "fake it till you make it" guy who's BSed his way through life...which would be impressive had he not started out with all of daddy's big bucks in his pockets. But, I don't fault him for it. He's doing long term damage to true conservatism with his populist garbage, but some of you guys eat it up like it's candy. Lucky for you, it's my generation (and my great grandkids) that will end up picking up the tab.

Well, technically, Barr fired that ass-clown. He was an obummer appointee, which means he was a plant to disrupt the administratiom...i.e. engage in anti-American scheming. TRUMP SHOULD HAVE FIRED EVERY obummer APPOINTEE ON DAY ONE!!! But, finish the job now.

And I find it hilarious that YOU, of the Comey, Mueller, Krooked Killary et al clan is "concerned" about agencies following the law. That is too funny.

Noticed Goosey didn't say anything about the special Congressional election in California this past week, where a virtual unknown Republican defeated a democratic candidate and flipped a seat held by democrats fo 20 years by double digit percentage points. Even the New York Times had to admit that this could be the signs of a very bad November for the democrats.

That seat has been a Republican seat since the redistricting in 1993. It has only been held by a Democrat for less than 1 year during that time. I wouldn’t read too much into it.

Btw, they get a rematch in November, so this was kind of a pointless special election done in the middle of a pandemic with only virtual campaigning.

And the Dems tried to cheat at the end when the strictly mail-in balloting wasn't working for 'em. Garcia(R) led by 11,000 votes the day before the scheduled end of the election period. The Dems rushed to open a regular polling place in the heaviest Dem district and yet Garcia ended up winning by 12,000 votes, or something like that. Now, I am not sure why/how anyone knew what the vote counts were prior to the end of the election. It would make sense, generally, when an election spans weeks that election officials start counting votes as they come in, such that the night of the "polls" closing or by the next day results can be announced. But, I thought the actual totals were supposed to be kept secret until after the polls closed.

Regardless, this was for an open seat vacated by Dem Katie Hill who resigned after nude pics of her and her staff appeared...wherever they appeared, the Net I guess. Hill was one the beneficiaries of the great seat heist of 2018 when Repubs "won" something like 10 Congressional seats...as of election night, only to lose all 10 after ballots were found in the trunks of cars of Dem election officials. What was really amazing was how in each case just enough ballots were found to flip the previous day's results. Wow! some luck, eh!

I guess this was just to fill out the rest of Hill's term, which expired this November anyway. I suppose Garcia has to run again in 6 months. Or, was this for the next full 2-year term? IDK. Still, it's a nice pick-up for the good guys. I hope this is a preview of coming attractions. It would be awesome for the GOP to have the WH and both houses! And...for there to be leaders in Congress who will work with President Trump. NO! I don't mean be rubber-stampers. But do what is right for America and Americans!

And we can watch Goosey's head explode....

I thought, but wasn't sure, it was a temporary thing. Still, it's like when Tech beats East Podunk A&M in hoops and some say, OMG! that's no biggie, that schools sucks. Yeah? Well...beating 'em is still better than losing to 'em.

Yeah many democrats were upset that they couldn't ballot harvest.

Good post! Indeed he was an Obama plant. My only complaint about these firings is why is it taking so long? Trump should fire everybody that was an Obama appointee, and start clean. That's the only way most of these government agencies will regain any kind of integrity. Need to purge all the bad guys first. And he should start with Chris Wray at the FBI.

By the way, that link is pathetic. Here's just one example: They call it a "broken promise" that Trump couldn't repeal Obamacare. LOL! John McCain (a complete total Piece of shit) was literally the Never-Tumper who prevented the repeal of Obamacare with literally the last vote in the U.S. Senate. That was not on Trump. That was on McCain. McCain was the one who had the final vote with a thumbs up, or thumbs down vote, and he emphatically --and in very dramatic fashion-- gave it a thumbs down. That's not Trumps fault.

Also, now we know for a fact that John McCain was working with the Democrats and the Never-Trumpers against Trump and his new administration on the Russian Collusion investigation. We already knew it, but the intel reports released to the public over the last couple of weeks confirmed that McCain was one of the primary handlers of the very fake Steele Dossier that was taken to the FISA court, and used to justify the 2-yr Russia collusion investigation. This, despite knowing the dossier was full of lies, and knowing that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) --Trumps primary electoral opponent-- had actually PAID for it. LOL!

In short, John McCain was a traitor to his country, and played a serious role in the coup attempt to overthrow the newly elected Trump administration.. And McCain's name now lives in infamy for conservatives, because he is also the single biggest reason Obamacare was never overturned.

You're the one who said he'd kept every campaign promise he'd made. I guess you meant except for the ones he didn't. That's the deal with the Trump fanboys. Everything you like is 100% Trump. Everything you don't like is 100% somebody else. He plays the victim more than any President in my lifetime.
