It's still happening across many cities in U.S. Just you are not hearing about it, because polling shows that when MSM reports on it, it pisses off the voting public and instead of turning them against Trump, it is actually giving Trump more support. So MSM stopped reporting on it. It happens every weekend in Austin, Seattle, Portland, etc. On Friday and Saturday nights there are over a dozen live feeds on the violence that you can watch.

Oregon State PD left Portland because local DA dropped all charges against all rioters, including those charged with felonies. State PD said they could better use resources in other areas where laws were upheld.
