Did y'all see that blithering idiot Andrew Coma say it was the "European Virus" that killed all those tens of thousands of New Yorkers! What a jerk. What an effing moron. Worst part is just about every person stupid enough to listen to that creep will believe it!

When they revise the yearly total up accounting for estimates of those who never showed up to the hospital and are estimated as having died from coronavirus people are going to blow a gasket.
Of course, the 60,000 deaths from the flu were figured exactly that way, from maybe 15,000 known deaths from pneumonia (and other things) which were aggravated or triggered by having had the flu.

Just know, that revision is coming. I have my popcorn ready.

Thanks for proving the point. Most of these people were going to die anyway. Sooner may have been a blessing.

I agree. Many who died in homicides, motor vehicle accidents, and sudden heart attacks will test positive for China Virus and be designated as having died FROM it.

You keep saying it as if it actually is a point. You think we should track COVID deaths differently than we track everything else?

Is this on one of the tinfoil hat sites or what?

That isn’t how the CDC told folks to count COVID deaths. The experts say COVID deaths are undercounted rather than overcounted, and that makes sense.

Total BS but it helps your cause so continue the lies and go for it. “Experts say” is so lame.

We’re all going to die. I read you lost someone, and I empathize.

Rationalizing ‘they were gonna die anyway’ don’t cut it.

Most adults in the US, particularly in TX, LA and MS do not qualify as “healthy.”

The vast majority of those "unhealthy" adults are grossly obese, and everyone knows that with that comes all those neat things like hypertension, diabetes, kidney disease, as well as many, many more ailments. Most obese people are obese because of their own slothful gluttony, but I'm sure you'll try to blame even that on our great president.

So you are saying, if you have one of these diseases, it is no big deal if your life gets cut short because the president mismanaged the response to a pandemic?

Check stats of ages. Most are old. Being a fat ass and eating crap is not a disease

I was just interested to know the number to see how this year is stacking up vs past years. I get that it was done in April, I was just wondering how that has panned out now that we are a few more months into this year. It seems to me that this should be a pretty clear cut number and easy to fine but I can't seem to find any clear cut data. Specifically how many people have died by month over the last 10 years. Is this year statistically different?
