Nobody dies from Diabetes...they die from heart failure or kidney failure or stroke. A lot of cancer patients die from malnutrition.

Furthermore flu patients often die of pneumonia.

When they revise the yearly total up accounting for estimates of those who never showed up to the hospital and are estimated as having died from coronavirus people are going to blow a gasket.
Of course, the 60,000 deaths from the flu were figured exactly that way, from maybe 15,000 known deaths from pneumonia (and other things) which were aggravated or triggered by having had the flu.

That isn’t how the CDC told folks to count COVID deaths. The experts say COVID deaths are undercounted rather than overcounted, and that makes sense.

The vast majority of those "unhealthy" adults are grossly obese, and everyone knows that with that comes all those neat things like hypertension, diabetes, kidney disease, as well as many, many more ailments. We looked at this earlier back in April and things have stayed the same. So many are dying with China Virus, but not from it. It can be a horrible virus that is anywhere from devastating to some for weeks to a bad few days for others. As you know, very few are actually dying from the virus.

I was just interested to know the number to see how this year is stacking up vs past years. I get that it was done in April, I was just wondering how that has panned out now that we are a few more months into this year. It seems to me that this should be a pretty clear cut number and easy to fine but I can't seem to find any clear cut data. Specifically how many people have died by month over the last 10 years. Is this year statistically different?
