Nailed it! I just don't understand why we would want a president that is not FOR America FIRST. Maybe we should let other countries vote in our elections if we intend to look out for their best interests before ours. I am sure many are going to do just that with this mail in fiasco we are about to have.

Free markets? Yep! which is why Trump wants fair and free trade deals with cheating countries.

Balanced budgets? RINOs have not cared about that ever...but, yes, this is an issue, which I have stated many times before.

Military service? Yep! which is why Trump has done so much for our Vets and those currently serving.

Anti-corruption? Yep! which is why Trump has been fighting the severe corruption in The Swamp, not the least of which is rooted in the DOJ/FBI, as we've all seen.

Rule of law? Yep! which is why Trump has offered help, even "threatened" help, to restore order in all those Dem cities/states. And! why Trump has adhered to the strictest interpretation of the law, unlike obummer who routinely disregarded it....such as selling automatic weapons to the Mexican drug cartels.

Separation of power? Yep! which is why Trump has tried to work with Congress, unlike obummer who issued a record amount of EOs.

The problem is The Swamp and those of you who are either willfully going along, or are too ignorant to understand any of it.

Do you know the definition of fascism, or is it just a term you like to throw around because it sounds so bad? FYI...the correct definition is: a system of politics/government when there is only one political party and that party is led by a single, powerful leader. If anything it is the Dems pushing for a fascist system in the US. But, even that is not totally accurate, as I have not seen a movement of concentrating power in one individual. Rather the Left is ruled by a small group of power-hungry people. There are still multiple political parties in the US, two major ones, and many, many others. So...if you don't wish to sink even lower into the negative credibility area, you need to stop the silly talk about fascism.

Populism? Heck! we had a whole thread on that a while back. After much discussion, research, more discussion, as I recall, we did not arrive at one acceptable definition of it, and did not see how it applied to the any current "movement" in the US. If you accept the "elitist" definition of it then yeah, one can make the case, by that definition, that Trump's political philosophy embraces the pure tenets of populism. And to that I say: GOOD FOR HIM! and a huge THANKS! Caring more for "the common man" over "elitists?" Count me in! That is very fabric of what makes America great! The notion that anyone can rise as far as their talent and effort takes them. I agree, there are parts of Trump's political philosophy that embraces aspects of populism, and thank God for it!!!

The 4th was inactivated? They just built them a brand new HQ building. I happened to be on post when they had a welcome home parade for the 4/10 some years ago. That was 2015 or 2016, I think... The MPs apologized saying the main road would be blocked for a while. I called the agency where I had a presentation to make and told them I was stuck on the other side of the parade. No problem, they said, get here when you can. So! I asked the nice MP if I could pull out of traffic and park somewhere so I could properly watch the parade. He moved a barricade and I parked on a side street.

I admit it, I am like a kid when it comes to honoring our wonderfully gallant troops! Cheering, clapping, shouting "Thanks!" to 'em.

How could this possibly be news? Yes, Goldberg is reporting what someone told him. Goldberg NEVER claims to have firsthand knowledge of the events. How could anyone who knows what a reporter is or does not know this? Even if it wasn't anonymous, this would still be true.

He did not admit that his informants could be wrong. In fact, he pointed out how all accounts (Bolton and those he spoke to) could all be true. Trump did say the things quoted about the fallen troops, his hair, and the secret service could have recommended cancellation due to weather at the same time. They are not exactly inconsistent.

Other news sources are reporting that they have received reports confirming it to be true. And it certainly sounds like something the Donald would say.
