You know, this site would be 50 pages into meltdown mode the day we learned Obama did something like this.

Actually, I much preferred the way Obama handled swine flu, which I even got very ill from... and I can't stand Obama. We didn't freak out and shut crap down and go insane like we have these days, because the Obama administration actually said "let's not panic the public". I'll also add that though I absolutely couldn't stand Obama or his policies, I still didn't go out and publicly disrespect him, because he was our duly elected president, just as Trump is. Trump has gotten an unprecedented amount of hate and disrespect, along with his followers, and he hasn't deserved it. People need to stop being arseholes in general, but I've lost faith in that recently.

Hannity had the whole timeline, with video of the main characters saying what they said on each date. It is indisputable, from Biden to Pelosi to Gov. Coma to Mayor DeBLAHiso, and some of their advisors, to Dr. Fauci, everyone was clamoring not to panic (which I happen to agree with since panicking only makes matters worse)...we've all seen it. Look, this is all just another pathetic attempt by the loser Dems to score political points in an election year.

In the end Obama stopped counting cases and deaths from the flu. We didn't freak out because we were obligated not to completely destroy the horrible economy created by our first half black president. Gloom, doom, and destruction of Obama was never going to happen.

The 2009-2010 Mexican Flu (aka Swine Flu) was just your old, mundane, boring influenza...61 million Americans got it and the latest, revised numbers are about 18,000 died because of it. I got it. It was a typical flu episode, fever, mine peaked at 103F for a brief period, felt lousy for a few days. I can't remember all the details, which I posted on this forum some time back, but there are like two main strains of viruses, from which all flu and this China virus, derive from. The 1918 Spanish Flu, the 1957 Russian Flu, the 1968 Hong Kong Flu, Bird Flu 1997 & 1999, SARS 2003, the 2009 Mexican Flu are all connected via one of the two strains.

Basically, the strains are classified as "influenza" which its name has its origin in Italy, as in "influenced by a virus," from an epidemic that swept southern Europe, and SARS, which is a totally different family of viruses. So, there is no comparison between the threat of the 2009 Mexican Flu and the 2019 China Virus. obummer didn't have to do anything that is not ordinarily done to deal with a regular flu epidemic. Medical science has plenty of knowledge and ammo to address such outbreaks. So, please stop with the stupid comparisons.

SARS has its origins in China. Most experts pinpoint 2003 as the year the SARS virus had its break-out event. That's what some researchers allege. Yet, I have read where SARS is closely related to HIV which caused the AIDS epidemic, and that dates back to the 1980's. Perhaps SARS is an off-shoot of HIV...probably artificially engineered by a certain group of folks bent on dominating the world by 2049...in their own words.

How do you know what they were and were not briefed on? Do you have evidence of this? Links? You have no idea what Pelosi and Cuomo knew and when.

The CDC and NIH are executive branch agencies that report to Trump. We know what Trump was briefed on. We know he concealed critical information to the public health. We know both of these things because he is on tape admitting to it.

We don’t know what Pelosi or Cuomo knew, but they don’t have an agency of experts that reports directly to them like Trump does.

We had been hearing earlier this year that Trump was receiving this information as part of his daily intelligence briefings. This is info the president is given, not Congresspersons and Governors.

I can see IF, big IF, somehow the Trump administration kept some critical info away from the public and other political leaders (like governors) that would be somewhat problematic. Of course, there is no evidence of that occurring. I'm not sure how (and why) any administration can so hamstring the CDC and other federal agencies, not to mention the literally tens of thousands of independent medical professionals, research facilities, many at very liberal universities, OTHER NATIONS!!! and prevent the "truth" and in this case, not the Biden definition of "truth," but the facts, from being known.

Just stop and ponder that for a moment. If you can, Goosey, set aside your irrational "orange man bad" syndrome, and actually think it through. No POTUS, none! enjoys that kind of dictatorial power that he (and a she to come...) can control the flow of information to the point that literally tens of thousands of independent sources can be constrained. Guvnar Coma had as much info as was available and he deliberately tried to thwart what he thought, and what he was being fed by his puppet masters, was just President Trump's "virus crisis." Pelosi's stupid grandstanding in Chinatown, on February 24th, was nothing more than a political photo op.

Nah, here's the TRUTH (facts). As is typical, and I can list a bunch of examples, the Dems were (still are) playing politics with the China virus outbreak. Their hope was it would get bad enough to cast Trump in a bad light, they did everything they could...to a point...to assist the virus' spread and to wreck the economy, which they know they have no merits on, which is designed to deny his re-election.

Hannity did not, and did not have to, omit any points. It's all there in plain sight for anyone, not blinded by a bad case of TDS, to see. Facts are facts. DeBLAHsio encouraging New Yorkers to ride the frickin subway and go about their daily business. That long after everyone already knew, and the world knew, that was not a good idea. Gov. Coma did not even use the tent city and the navy hospital ship provided to him. Coma did not even take steps to protect the most vulnerable, the elderly and in fact, made it worse by transferring virus-positive patients to nursing homes. That is negligent homicide! Murder!

Biden lashed out at the travel bans, calling it xenophobic. The video is there for all to see. Biden said it.

In the bigger picture, unlike YOU who is incapable of rational thought, I do view Trump through just one set of glasses...and they ain't rose-colored. Gee! Donald Trump is not perfect. Who would have thunk that!??? Wow! He makes mistakes? (and NO, I am not saying he made a mistake in this case, just that he is prone to mistakes just like the rest of you!). Abraham Lincoln made mistakes, FDR made mistakes, Ronaldo Maximus made mistakes, Bill Clinton made mistakes, obummer was a mistake.

I have been, and will continue to be, just as critical of Trump as I have been with all POTUSs. I don't care one iota about Donald J. Trump as a person, I only care about this country. His legacy will be a good one by doing well for this country. So far, his efforts have been heroic (with a few hiccups).

That is a bald-faced lie.. Trump NEVER initiated a Muslim travel ban.. If you were Muslim and lived in Saudia Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, UAE, Bahrain, EU, etc. there were no restrictions. Only 7-8 countries were impacted. So it wasn't a Muslim ban..
