I discussed this with Frisco a week ago. You should read the whole CDC pandemic planning scenarios - each of the models and what they mean.

In clear sentence at the top of the Table it says about the parameters “They are not predictions or estimates of the expected impact of COVID-19.” Which means the CDC has already told you that these values are not for the purpose that you, DeSantis and folks on social media are using them for.

It is misleading to do so.

Viral transmission is not a mystery. We know how it transmits. We know that we have effective mitigation strategies. We know that the President didn’t make those in close contact with him wear masks. We know this from his words and from the words of his aids, staffers, and advisers.

These are facts. You don’t have to accept them. You and PD can operate on your devotion and emotion if you prefer.
