We should all be good patriots. Wearing the mask in any form is the way we can show it.

That would be a good start.

As leader of the free world, I would have (1) leveled with the public from the getgo about how serious the problem was, (2) I would have emphasized the importance of mask wearing and social distancing rather than making fun of political opponents who wore them and holding events without social distancing, (3) I would have supported states that were trying to get the disease under control rather than encouraging supporters to challenge lockdowns.

I wouldn’t be publicly questioning scientists - that belongs behind closed doors. A unified front is so important so that people would be more willingly to comply with the voluntary steps people need to take to get the disease under control.

And another caveat is that if you don’t have the required ID, you can also vote provisionally, and you have to come back within a period of time of the election to validate your identification.
In East Texas they always ask for your DL or ID to check off on a list they have in front of them.

LOL. #lawandorder??????? What a silly thing to say.

So you'd be in favor of making laws telling me what I need to wear and how many people I can be around like that moron in California that is blabbing about restrictions for Thanksgiving dinner? Maybe I'll follow those new laws like sanctuary cities enforce immigration laws.

I'm hearing that whatever vaccine they come up with will likely be no more than 50% effective. Then what? We can't lock down forever, and the number of businesses going bankrupt continues to accelerate with these partial lockdowns (like restaurants, gyms, and the like), so do we just hide in our basements and hope it all goes away one day? The people hurt the most by these lockdowns are the people least able to afford the loss of their jobs.

This is a giant poop sandwich that the WHO and China allowed to migrate itself across the globe, and you somehow blame Trump. While he stopped the migration of the virus from China with his travel ban, it was flooding here from Europe (from China) because we are a free and open nation. We are not Taiwan no matter how much you want us to be. We are the leader of the free world and the stabilizing force on Earth. The saving grace will be therapeutics and they are getting better and in the pipeline.

Take precautions to protect yourself and your loved ones (sometimes that means wearing a mask, but don't be a whiny Karen about it).

They ask for it, but you can cast a vote without it.

Lockdowns are what happen when you fail to control the disease. I am advocating controlling the disease so that lockdowns aren’t needed.

You nor Biden have any suggestions for the before part...controlling the diseases (yes including flu)

-Mandated masking without enforcement of how they are worn does NOTHING.
-There will never be enforcement of distancing which is a must.

You want control, but you don't want enforcement of rules or even laws already on the books.

With actual leadership, you wouldn’t need nearly as much enforcement. The president has done a really poor job convincing Americans that this is what they need to do. In fact, he undermines the effort. You know this is true.

BS, I see lots of Trump supporters daily who are practicing the safe masking and distancing way of life. I also see fat asses riding around in hover rounds with their WIC cards either not wearing a mask or wearing it under their nose.

If you think Obama or Clinton or Biden or Harris is capable of showing that kind of leadership you are way off.

Again, you have no solution... just blame bad orange man.

Why do you think most people don’t wear masks to Trump rallies?

Because bad orange man told them not to? IDK why, but my guess is they are not buying the "science". They are deplorable you know.

FWIW, not wearing a mask properly (below the nose or filthy) is no better than not wearing one at all.

Do you think those people would wear them if Trump was a champion of mask wearing and pushed his supporters to do it as a demonstration of patriotism?
