Soooo we hear A.H. Shitma says "we take Georgia, we take the world". Put his mask on and says " we take Georgia, we take America". Now, dumorats start moving to Georgia so they can win those run offs. Really sound like a real fair election. So glad that I probably won't be around to see how far down the USA will fall if the dumorats take complete control. I would name you (plural) individually but I might miss one or two of you or accidentally miss name some one.

To you ultra loyal conservatives, I salute you.

Presidents don’t cost capitalists money. Elections happen, and capitalists know they will happen. If you put yourself in a position where an election outcome radically impacts your ability to make an income, well that sounds very liberal of you to blame the government for that one.
just because you and other Socialist have decided that people like me will do just fine it is ok to take money out of our pockets and give to somebody else. I have worked hard for the last 40 years and have saved to have a retirement that i worked for so you and your friends keep your damn hands off.... Also since i am so close to retirement the you and your socialist friends will cost me around 20% of my retirement savings and probably raise my expenses 15% and believe me I run the number and my CFP runs them. So you and your leaves alone and start a commune somewhere else without my money.

Hang on. I need to play some sad violin music as I reread your post.

If an election is going to cost you 20% of your retirement, you should fire your CFP. Have you not been tax lost harvesting?

Also, as a boomer your retirement and low tax rates have come at the expense of debt saddled onto future generations. You have stolen from prior and future generations, so I am not going to feel sorry for you having to pay a little bit more in taxes on your investments when you have been paying artificially low tax rates on your income to generate those investments in the first place.

Weii i can rest now, up to this point i just thought you are ignorant, but now i know you are a true believing socialist, and as such there is no changing you misguided opions for you it is like a religion. Believe me I have more than paid my fair share of taxes and put 2 fine children through school and saved money for retirement by settling less than many around me. Just wish you and the others like you would go to the many places in world that that are like you and let us continue to be "the shiningcity on the hill".

Somewhere along the way Republicans got confused about what capitalism is. It isn’t about working hard. If so, people doing manual labor would make the most money.

Capitalism actually isn’t about work at all. Capitalism just sees labor as another resource, an operating cost.

Those that do well in capitalism are those that deploy resources to the highest value. These days there is a much higher return on capital than labor, and we tax it less to boot!

This isn't the first time he's made this argument. His household must have been very irresponsible with money when he grew up.

As for me, I did as you did and did with less, raised two kids, and retired debt free. I would guess he has not experienced that!

The only connection to “irresponsibility with money” is the lawmakers that mortgaged your kids future for your tax breaks.

That is the real irony here. The benefits you enjoy haven’t been paid for yet. You just passed your debt on to others.

Perhaps our government is a bit overextended. Like allowing illegals to have babies in our hospitals. Like passing stupid coronavirus relief bills, when what is really needed is to open the government. Like an endless welfare state and policing the world.

You are free to send the government whatever you like, however. Or are you just mouth again?

Additionally, I thought you held yourself up as an expert on Capitalism! If you want capital to leave the country, tax it. Even you must have the common sense to understand that! Furthermore, the "rich" you lefties keep wanting to tax just keep figuring out ways to not pay them, but the rest of us always do.

Wonder if your senile savior will reinstate the state and local deductions for those rich people you and your ilk keep saying you want to tax (and lo and behold if Trump doesn't actually tax them). Yep, the rich will get richer. They will also get richer when the noose is off and they can start outsourcing all their labor to countries where they don't have this stupid minimum wage your heroes want to pass. Eventually the capital will all move elsewhere and we can just stop worrying about all this stuff.

Ooooorrr, I could do the more logical thing and not vote for someone that wants to do tax cuts with structural deficits.

I don’t care where the capital goes. More important is who owns the capital. Geez, you guys know nothing about capitalism.

A concrete example...as a capitalist equity holder in Apple, I benefit when they build a plant in China and make their iPhones there at lower cost, which passes through to the bottom line, and also adds to the top line when their presence in China allows them to take market share there.

If you tell Apple not to offshore that work, our equity in Apple is worth less because they generate less free cash.

The same is true for all companies. By constraining capital, you lock in economic inefficiencies and limit growth. You want to limit capital appreciation? That is what anti-globalism does.

    Re: President Biden

I like this discussion on "capitalism," I'll need to jump in on that. But first, back to Biden...

His re-opening our southern border will have devastating effects, in terms of cost, increasing crime, not to mention the suffering of the illegals themselves. But, Biden and his ilk don't care about any of that, they only want to practice their brand of unabridged globalism, and also benefit from what they see as an increasing voter base. You will notice how quiet it's been along the southern border for the past year or so. Illegal crossings are down 80%+ since Trump took office. Less drugs crossing the border, a tremendous reduction in human trafficking, which is just a euphemism for slavery, and a break of sorts on the already taxed infrastructure of the border states, in particular, and the nation as a whole.

We know that 6 months, a year, from now Goosey et al will be claiming that Biden inherited a mess along our southern border and all the problems (to come) are Trump's fault. But, just mark this point...note how quiet it is, and has been, along our southern border, thanks to a great POTUS, Donald Trump.

And, yes, of course, Biden is about to sell-out the US to global power centers, sacrificing our national sovereignty on the altar of globalism. Right down to Germany announcing they won't be sending their fair contribution to NATO next year, since bad orange man won't be around to make them. No worries, US taxpayers will make up the slack.

China is being REALLY quiet right now...and will be until January 21, 2021, then watch out!

So, I have a question for soon-to-be President Biden...what are you gonna do about the national debt? Hmmm? I demand to know! Let's see your plan! Don't make excuses, don't blame your predecessors, including yourself and obummer, which grew the debt more than any other administration in history, nope! Tell us what you will do going forward.

Btw, Trump added 6.7 Trillion to the debt in 4 years while Obama added 8.6 Trillion in 8 years. Obama had him on the total, but Trump wins in debt amount per year.
