IMHO mankind, even more specific America, still hasn’t repented as a nation of its many sins of coveting, greed, pornography pouring from our country and into our homes, the mass killings of unborn babies, murder in general, mass hatred and destruction, same sex marriage, the sin of apathy, God and prayer being kept out of schools, even the short 10 Commandments not allowed to be shown in our schools but how to put a condom on and homosexual practices are allowed to be shown or studied, race against race intolerance and violence as well as so much more. Including the credit due for the last 3 1/2 years of America’s great economy, and so many other blessings pouring out, having Not been given to the Lord. Instead a President Trump touting it was his doing was not the way to vocalize the financial successes. Bottom line.....there needs to be a true revival of seeking Christ in our land. I know I need this often in my life. Just saying.

I'm seeing less and less distancing and/or masking. I'm seeing more and more people are out and about. Check out the parking lots and see all the shoppers. Looks like 2019 and before.

The politicians blamed halloween and now Thanksgiving gatherings. I call BS on both. It's that people are tired of living in a shell.

The young and healthy who are asymptomatic are spreading.

Solution: If you are sick and susceptible, STAY HOME!

And don’t let anyone else into your home, right?

So if you live with healthy people, they also need to stay home!

The school (in The Woodlands, Tx) sent my 5-yr-old granddaughter home because she had the sniffles. My son/daughter-in-law complained saying it was a simple cold. But the school said she had to be tested for the China virus before she could return. So, she had to endure that stick up her nose...of course she tested negative. Ridiculous.

Speaking of which, I see that the FDA has approved a "at home" testing procedure. I guess you take your own sample and send it off for testing.

Some people always think they should be the exception to the rule.

The new at home test gets you results in 20 minutes. You don’t have to send it off.

So, you think it is appropriate for a school to panic over a simple cold and subject a child to that test? Her parents told the school their daughter had not been near anyone who was confirmed positive. That they wear masks, including the 5-yr-old when they are out in public, and all other sensible precautions. What, you morons don't think other illnesses are still around? What, you don't think someone could have a simple cold and it NOT be virus-related? Really?

My daughter is in the medical field and they are supposed to self-report if they think they might have come in contact with someone with the virus, and then be tested. But, the facility also does random testing. She has been selected twice in the past several months for this random testing...both times it was negative.

As for the home test, well, I question the validity of it, or more particularly, if people can be trusted to do it correctly. I don't know anything about it, but I am wary of trusting someone who claims, "I tested myself...I'm good to go!"

If your granddaughter had a doctor diagnose her as having a cold she would have been allowed to attend. She isn’t an exception to the rule.

This protocol, which inconveniences the few, is part of the strategy that keeps schools open for the many.

What I find ridiculous are people that think they have something other than Covid and then go out and spread their Covid to others. Happens all the time.

Btw, my niece just got detained in Singapore on a visit to her family during college break. She got an inconclusive test when she landed so she was taken to a hospital where she had to wait a few days for a retest. The retest also just came back inconclusive, so she is going to end up spending over 20 days in a hospital in Singapore at her family’s expense and not even get to see her family. Kind of a crappy situation for her, but they knew the rules and took the risk.

I am glad someone saw the point.

If people did what Pawdawg suggested it would be a voluntary lockdown and most small businesses would fail.

yes, but only for the susceptible and those who live with them. This is nothing compared to what the socialist governors and mayors are demanding.

    This is bizarre...

Calling it a mishap is trying to downplay it IMO. The person giving the injection had to know that there was nothing in the syringe.
