And I wouldn’t characterize what is going on in Canada as a “heavy lockdown.” Restrictions are being imposed on the provincial level and they mostly are directed towards prohibiting indoor and public gatherings.
So, it is your stance that all these politicians and celebs who choose to travel while their fans and constituents are locked down never come into contact with anyone while they travel?
I don’t have a stance on something so generic that is so clearly fact specific.
There's pictures of him all over Costa Rica walking around with no mask on. Even in some crowds literally shoulder to shoulder to others and no mask. I wouldn't necessarily say that is following proper protocols that he put in place for citizens he represents.
The pictures I saw were him with people he lives with.

Guiss actually thinks that this liberal and his family/entourage never was within 6 feet of someone not in their party when flying and vacationing in the Caribbean. Did they go to restaurants where the waiter stayed 6 feet from the table? Did they cook all their own food that they grew on the island during their stay so no one else could have made contact with their groceries? No patrons passed each other coming or going to the restroom or through the doors? They never passed anyone at the airport that wasn’t in their group?(Private, unmanned airstrip.....okay)
I know it’s absurd, but what’s more absurd is that brainless libbies(but I repeat myself) actually think locking down does any good. Of course they don’t believe it because they don’t abide by it anyway. Look at Florida. Wide open and lower infection and death rate than locked down states.
Costa Rica isn’t an island. When I went there it would have been very easy to not be around anyone else, especially if you are flying private.
Most folks would rent a private residence and have a chef cook for you. When I was there many of the coastal towns don’t have the greatest dining.
If you require your driver (if you used one) and your chef to get tested, this is one of the lowest risk vacations you can do. In fact, any other Canadian could have made the same trip.
Your Florida info is wrong. They have had the third most infections behind California and Texas.
If you look at per capita infections per state, it is those that didn’t lock down that look the worst now:

And, separately, Arizona currently has the worst DAILY infection rate currently, so you can expect to see it run up the chart soon.
Btw, Trump’s entourage is far more of a COVID infection risk everytime he travels to Maralago for golf. In fact his administration is responsible for no fewer than 3 unnecessary super spreader events.
