Then lefties say they won’t take it and they don’t want their constituents to take it because it’s “Trump’s vaccine”. Then they get made a Trump when the vaccine is delivered and their individual states and hospitals fail to get it administered because they still want to fight over whether 65 year old productive citizens should receive it before 30 year old death row inmates.

Florida seems to be doing fairly well with it.

Actually, they are only 23rd according to this list but the guvnar is just now rolling out a plan to have the vaccine available in stores, like Publix. Should soon see an improvement there.

23 is almost dead center of the pack, and is worse than New York.

Got the first of two shots this morning at the NRMC. Very orderly and consistently busy. You have a 15-minute window for your appointment. Next shot in 3 weeks. I asked the man in charge about the vaccine and he could really only shrug..."we only know what we've been told, or, provided in literature," he said. The vaccines are brand new, it's a new virus strain, and is mutating, as all new strains do. No one knows if this will end up being an annual vaccine, like the flu shot, or what....? I was also told the first shot makes a person 70% protected in about a week, which already exceeds the flu shot's effectiveness, and then 99% protected after the 2nd shot. I asked him, since we, really you guys, know so little about the China virus and this vaccine, how can you assert these rates of effectiveness? He glanced at me, and then shrugged.

On another note, I saw a prominent local businessman and his lovely wife in there getting shots. Heard him say, "thanks for allowing us to slip in here like this." The fellow in charge grimaced, and just nodded. I take it he was under orders from higher-ups to give the "power couple" the shots. Have to admit, I did enjoy how she exposed her arm for the shot. The man next to me beamed, I said, "all of this and a floor show too." Of course, I too was afforded a privileged spot on the list as a member of the Board of Directors. So, I am not being critical. Most of those there, who I saw, were older folks and first-responders, such as police officers, firemen/paramedics...so they are mostly getting it right.
