Was against it then and I'm against it now. I just found it funny that someone who claimed to be the conservative standard bearer was for it and got a free pass from MANY of his supporters.

I must have missed when Trump stated he was the conservative standard bearer. He was against the neo-con wars; pro deficit spending and borrowing (thus his desire for negative interest rates); pro criminal justice reform; pro gay marriage and gay rights; etc. He was too much of a real problem solver to be a real conservative. Heck, he was even for increasing LEGAL immigration for more than just exploiting them for political purposes or getting cheap labor.

The republicans, on the other hand, have assumed their original role as whiners and getting steamrolled by the dems and the media. Dems continue to be just pure evil.

Just heard on the radio...no source cited...that deficit spending is up 454% from this time a year ago. The DJ then added after the report, "if you get another stimmy check, hold it to pay all those taxes we're all gonna be on the hook for."

454%????????? even though I know our guvmint is careening downhill at record pace and no one is driving, that seems a tad high.

That's horrible. Bet those taxes will be more than that free candy handed out by the Biden van! Don't get too close or you might get sniffed.

And you should probably be thinking, I want to make sure that I don’t shoot this person I pulled over for expired tags and air fresheners hanging from rear view mirror. If you aren’t, there is something wrong.

No I agree.. What do you think LEO's should do? It's literally a split second decision.. Make the wrong call, you get riots, or you get dead..

ETA: The female officer in MN is charged with 2nd degree homicide for shooting an unarmed man who was wanted for a violent crime and had an arrest warrant out for him. The capital police officer who shot an lady at the Capital on Jan 6th through a door was also unarmed. That capital police officer's name was never released, his home address was never published, and he was not charged with any crime. Priviledge?

The squad is calling for the end of LEO across the country.. Yet they are not wanting to get rid of the capitol police, personal security details, or the 7000 national guardsmen/women/he/she/her/it that surround them each and every day..

Yes, they should follow it. But not following instructions does not in itself justify lethal force. Lethal force is only justified when you reasonably believe that your or someone else’s life is in imminent danger and non lethal force is not an option.
