Dr. Anthony Fauci is now admitting that the coronavirus could have come from a “lab leak” — as emails released through FOIA show he was told of “unusual features of the virus” at the beginning of the pandemic — but is blaming criticism of his shifting positions on “people out there” who “resent” him.
“There is no doubt that there are people out there who, for one reason or another, resent me for what I did in the last administration, which was not anything that was anti-Trump at all,” Fauci, a top adviser on the coronavirus to President Biden, said on MSNBC’s “Deadline” Wednesday evening.
Fauci admitted that he “can’t guarantee everything that is going on in the Wuhan lab” in the wake of criticism after a trove of his emails were published on Tuesday.
“It was just trying to get the right information, to try and get the right data. What they didn’t seem to understand, I guess that it is understandable that they didn’t understand it, is that science is a dynamic process,” Fauci, the nation’s top infectious disease expert, continued.
In an interview Thursday morning on CNN, Fauci was asked about the email he received in April 2020 from the president of EcoHealth Alliance thanking him for knocking the theory that the coronavirus may have originated because of a leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
“Oh, that’s nonsense. I don’t even see how they get that from that email. That email was sent to me from them,” Fauci said on CNN.
And you were ridiculed last year if you even suggested that this virus may have originated in a lab.

Anyone who can’t admit he was misleading with an agenda from the beginning is being dishonest. Nothing to worry about.....no need to wear masks......you have to wear one....or 2....or three.......Vaccines will bring us back to normal.........even if vaccinated you still can’t be around people who don’t live with you......well, vaccinated people can go out, but only in a mask........
He could have told us to put masks on our feet, hop in a circle, and sing every word to The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald to hold the virus at bay and liberals would have bought it without question.

Exactly and the draconian edicts and shutdowns that took place were no more based upon science than unicorns. The problem is that honestly I don't mind it, but as the "science" evolved, the mandates did not. Even now, there are states (mostly democrat controlled) that require masks outside, still have some shutdowns in place.

The swamp giving out warnings.. Just like now the Biden admin has stopped the State Dept investigation into the origins of Covid.. and turned it over to the IC community. Smart move by Biden admin, because if the STATE Dept would have had to make their findings public.. with the IC now doing the investigation... it will just die quietly and any findings are "classified".. They did not have unrestricted access. Reminds me of a time during Clinton admin.. when a Russian Cargo ship was dropping sonar buoys in Puget Sound WA so they could detect and identify when our subs left the base. The ship was traveling along western Canadian coast and US Navy had an Intel officer fly in a Canadian military helo to photograph the ship.. the helo was lasered and the pilots and the Intel Officer suffered eye damage and headaches from the encounter..
When the ship was about to enter US waters, the Navy was going to board her and search her for buoys and lasers.. When the DOD notified the State Dept.. Hillary (who was SOS at that time) notified the Russian embassy that their ship was going to be boarded. Immediately after the contact from Hillary to the Russians.. the Intelligence Community intercepted coded messages from the embassy to Moscow..
The ROE was sent down to the Navy that when they boarded the ship, they were only allowed to search unlocked areas of the ship. Any areas locked were off limits.. and guess what, the Navy did not find any laser or buoys on the ship.. Imagine that..
