Could have had a maximum 5 advance from Supers. Two have advanced (Vanderbilt and Tennessee). Ole Miss is on the ropes down 10-1 in Tucson. And Moo State has to bounce back to beat Notre Dame tomorrow.

I don’t know pitching rules. But game 3 Arkansas v nc state. Why wouldn’t Arkansas start “the greatest pitcher in ncaa this year?”

They did - they started Kopp - same kid who Van Horn threw for 170+ pitches in the regional...

He should of never trotted him out to start the 9th after he had already thrown 115 pitches through 8

I thought Van Horn’s decision to pull his starter in the 3rd inning Saturday was more questionable than letting Kopps start the 9th. Lockhart gave up only 1 run.

Kopps was giving up the long ball yesterday -

Torres and that top of the order were due

It's funny how the NC State skipper didn't burn his bullpen in a 21-2 loss Friday, when it got away from him he let it run on out with what he had on the mound and then had all his bullets Saturday and Sunday which ended up sending him to Omaha

LSU and Marineri did the same thing Saturday night - I don't pull my starter after 5 when he is matching the Tennessee pitcher pitch for pitch - they over managed in both situations

Yep, that was a smart move by State’s coach. Van Horn got out coached no doubt.

Fans and talking heads up here weren’t taking NC State seriously before the series began, and it got worse after Friday’s game.

I enjoyed last night’s post game immensely.

NC State can win it if their pitching holds up. They have more discipline and skill at the plate than any team I can remember.
